Sounds awesome so far! Even though it's just a short idea, it sounds polished (for lack of a better term). I am quite surprised to see how well many of you are taming this wild beast.

Mechanought, great start, just continue what you have going. Keep that 1/8 rhythm melody going with the bass counter-melody and the percussion. Keep it building, adding more percussion and maybe another voice or two, make the melodies go higher in pitch to a climax, FX explosion, then a quiet outro. Epic.

This is what I've done so far: https://soundcloud.com/hienergy/spiral- ... or/s-mFnja

It's a chiptune sort of track and I've used C64 style arpeggios to deal with Spiral Generator's monophonic character for building chords.
This track was prototyped with Synfire Pro and produced in Live.
It uses 7 instances of Spiral Generator, Live's utility on every track for dealing with phase issues, some EQs and almost no other effects as of yet.

Please tell me what you think of it.

This sounds like a genuine early 90s rave Techno track. Perhaps you should add a second part that's very calm with just some pads and no bass drum, then a build-up and return to the mood of the initial track.

Yes, that's the idea... it obviously needs a break somewhere and then buildup again. Thanks!

PS: also commented on your track, soundcloud has long delays these days..

Mates, a few questions about SoundCloud.
1) Is it possible to disable playing next random track? It is annoying as hell! And have always been for ages :(

2) I can not comment on SoundCloud through VPN from China. Does anybody have this issue too?

3) How people are doing spectro-waves like sine?

ps: the 8th of June and people submitted so much tracks, that is awesome! And the sound design is far more advanced than my skills )) That kinda depresses me xD Wish all good luck!

The button is a bit hard to find, but here it is:

You'll learn over time! Just dive right in and get your hands dirty! Be proud of whatever you make.

HiEnergy, do you need an 8 bit noise blast to compliment your chiptune?

Wish my plugin had copy/paste patch ability...

FX(elan)_8bitNoiseBlast.xml

Here's a few more. (links fixed)
INIT(elan)_Sine.xml (relies on phase modulation, good starting point for kicks)
INIT(elan)_Saw.xml
INIT(elan)_Tri.xml

Here's the title bar bug again. This time I took a screen shot. It happened arbitrarily after adding a new instance, opening an older instance again and after that it would happen to all instances. BUT, what's really amazing, is that after switching programs and switching back to the DAW, the title bar goes back to where it should be... :o

But just so you know I'm not fantasizing...attached is the jpg!

Thanks, Elan!
This will come in handy when I add percussion and sfx after finishing composing all tonal parts.
