What's your favourites in the collection? I only have Emulation II as a separate product - but that is truly amazing.

It's kind of like asking a painter to choose their favourite colors: I might prefer blue, but if I'm painting grass I'd reach for the best green for the job.

That said, OB Legacy and beat box anthology 2 are the standouts for me. The rest are all useful to have in the locker.

...but we are all "painters" in here no?

My wife is a painter, and she can explain with utmost detail why the colour red is horrible. I understand her perfectly, but I don't mind red. A bit of a boring colour but ok.

I'd say it's a no-brainer for you to buy this for the relatively low price - there's just so much stuff in there that it's easily worth it if you do any kind of production work whatsoever.

It's hard to pick a favorite since I use most products in there, but I keep returning to Kroma, which is a take on the Rhodes Chroma. I also use BBA (1) inside MOTU's BPM.

Not sure if this is a weird request, but does anyone happen to have the official UVI Vintage Vault 2 torrent file? I went ahead and bought the upgrade last night, but since then, I haven't been able to download the torrent file - it keeps telling me:

"Due to current successful offers, we're experiencing a high volume of downloads on our servers, this link may be temporarily unavailable. So please be patient and try again later. Thanks for your understanding and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused."

This seems like a bummer, since presumably the whole point of the torrent file is to avoid problems when their servers are slammed. You'd think they'd put the torrent on another server that wasn't slammed like this.

Anyway, is there anyone who did manage to get it, and if so, would you be able to send it to me? I also emailed UVI support to ask if they can email me the torrent file, but no luck yet.

Thanks - yup, downloads are back to normal now, I've got everything fine now. Please consider in the future at least making the torrent files available on a separate server - the whole point of the torrent should theoretically be to take pressure off the main download servers, so it becomes useless if the torrent file itself can't be downloaded because it's on the same servers that are inaccessible to download.

VV 2 is a fantastic collection and UVI is a great, customer friendly company.

UVI vintage vault 2
