I agree it would be nice to have a size between normal and large.

Does this only have MONO out? That is all I am getting under Windows 10.

Mh... i wondered about the oscillator stereo spread, which doesn't spread. Maybe that's the reason then.thejonsolo wrote:Does this only have MONO out? That is all I am getting under Windows 10.

As a test...are you using VST3 or VST2 version?chk071 wrote:Not here. Full license.
I disabled the VST3 version (which was the only one to show up in Cubase, weird) and the VST2 version was recognized. It plays in stereo properly.
So...Thorn VST3 has a bug, at least in Cubase!

A 27" 16:9 monitor should be more than optimal, if you have issues with reading GUI's now. (IIRC, you're on a 17" 5:4 monitor now, right?)[/quote]chk071 wrote:What size monitor do you recommend at minimum?
Not sure a 27" will work for him, given how low he has his resolution set on the 17". As someone suggested in another thread, he might be better off moving up to a 19", running at the same resolution as he has now.
You can run screens at non-native resolutions but not without blurriness issues.

Ph, and Thorn sounds/looks great. Loving the 'lead' presets, and having the glitch stuff incorporated is a great move

That makes sense i guess, as Studio One only sees the VST3 version. There's also a bug with the velocity tracking parameter of the filter, when you raise that, it moves the phase control of oscillator 1, at some value... and when you move the output volume above 50%, it activates the noise oscillator. I don't know if that also happens in the VST2.thejonsolo wrote:As a test...are you using VST3 or VST2 version?chk071 wrote:Not here. Full license.

On the other hand, it's all more or less optimized for full HD resolution now, so, some lower resolution will always result in some compromises you have to take. But, a 17" with some lower resolution should be really bad, because GUI's get cut off, or not? 1280x1024 would be the absolute minimum i would use on a 17". If wagtunes is really using something lower, then i have no idea how he manages screen space properly, because plugins will be huge, and, as i mentioned, some will even have cut off GUI elements, probably.

Each to his own I think.chk071 wrote:Not sure a 27" will work for him, given how low he has his resolution set on the 17". As someone suggested in another thread, he might be better off moving up to a 19", running at the same resolution as he has now.
If I were you I would be more intersted in exploring the new bought synth than speculating about screen resolutions of another user
