I'm just gonna lock this thread next time it goes off topic and deal with who's doing it
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Good update. However, I’m disappointed that there is no AU for Mac or VST3 support. The problem is I’m a Mac user and would like to use Roland’s cloud synths on Reason but the Mac version of the Roland cloud synths don’t support VST2. It only supports AU and VST3 which Reason doesn’t support.

I see that as of Live 10.1, it supports VST3. If Reason doesn’t support VST3 by version 11, it will be extremely disappointing. There’s a lot of Mac users on Roland Cloud who have brought this up before.Artmuzz wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 9:41 am Good update. However, I’m disappointed that there is no AU for Mac or VST3 support. It's good to see people actually starting to support the implementation of VST3, instead of shunning it and extending it's roadmap due to lack of interest or knowledge.EnochLight wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 11:21 amI see that as of Live 10.1, it supports VST3. The problem is that the markings on the Monotone's knobs - even on the big ones - are very small and thus hardly visible. And even if the knobs are same size, they SEEM smaller due to color palette somehow, or because of their design that suggests they're concave in the middle, thus - subconsciously - they "feel" smaller.EnochLight wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 5:49 pmsoftska wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 5:45 pm While both are pretty fun (well besides the lack of actual envolope for drum sounds), who thought knobs smaller than even the old devices are a good idea..
Are we looking at the same devices? The knobs are right in alignment with their other devices (the drum module's buttons are even larger):

You'd make it work if you made it singular...Atlatnesiti wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 7:14 pmGet over it, yes we know, your knobs are smallerantic604 wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 4:07 pmThe problem is that the markings on the Monotone's knobs - even on the big ones - are very small and thus hardly visible. Does anyone own Reason Intro, if so does it feel limiting to you? It includes all the instruments that I like the only downside I see is no rewire.

ReWire is a bit of a poison chalice:
1. It works really well, but how well depends entirely on the Host (which Reason is not able to be). Many Host DAWs have implemented ReWire more like an afterthought than all it could/should be. From memory, the implementation in Tracktion was the nicest. Reaper is just a total PITA.
2. Working in two DAWs at once is a PITA as every bit of housekeeping is doubled and the gain doesn't seem worth the effort. Maybe if Reason was the host it wouldn't be so bad but still, two programs at once is just an unnecessary hassle these days - something I tolerated in the early '00s but makes no sense anymore. I feel the same with a DAW and Hardware too.

I can never get Cubase to work with Reason so I just do things separately in Reason and import into Cubase.Benedict wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 11:17 pm ReWire is a bit of a poison chalice:

Rewire isn't the necessity it used to be since Reason changed into a DAW.

I re-demoed it briefly the other day - for me CPU load has not improved.
Uninstalled, and not going to bother any more.
then WE will be able to understand your comment(s) better... right?
Yeah, because all the top Grammy and Billboard winners are producing in Reason.
