Glad to hear that. Hope the news continues to be, if not ideal, at least survivable and not too debilitating.
Without complications I should both survive and remain fully functional. Huge relief !
doctorbob wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 1:26 pm @ELEX: Some good news for you. I know what it's like going to hospital for tests when you know there is something not right! The worst bit for me was being made to wait until the end of the queue for the consultant to take me into a small room with my wife to tell me what he found! Not good, but after 6 months off work, lots of medication trial and error (some side effects were awful), and we were considering AZT as a last resort, but I pushed through the side effects on one, and after many months I was finally clear. This was 16 years ago, and no re-occurrence of the nasty thing! Now 70+ and all is well.
Thanks ! Excellent !!! The end result, that is. Wouldn't want to have missed your sparkling personality and music. Luckily for me, my problem could be ascertained and treatment is unambiguous. I'll worry about later...later.

Ta! Can't leave just yet, still got to win that excellent synth of yours. ;) Not to mention listening to your lovely music

Great ELEX ... so glad you're sticking around (in the widest sense of the word!). Treatment is treatment, and it's good you have a direction to travel. Go with it, stay strong, and like you say, worry about the future, in the future! I still have a wired thing call idiopathic analphylaxis. Basically I go into full blown allergic shock for no reason. No-one can find anything to which I am allergic ... it just happens now and then, but recently a few attacks over the last couple of months! It's like trying to avoid walking under a bus when you can't see it!!!!!!!!! And then there's an injection into my eyeball every 6 weeks as well to contend with ... now everyone is squirming!!!! Can't avoid seeing it come!

Enough about me, now to get on voting, and thinking about the Vital round.

Thanks, guys. Your sympathy is a real boost !!!

@doctorbob
I feel for you and hope it all stays manageable. Hope you stick around too, in all senses ! Do admit to a slight squirmy feeling reading the about the eyeball injection and gonna join you now in shutting up about physical troubles. Voting & Vital ( nice encouraging name that ;) ) Let's get to it ! Quite liked your track, btw.

Thanks @ELEX. We are a small community with one simple aim ... make music and let others hear it. Getting a prize is a bonus and secondary to being part of it all. The good thing to see is that people here do care :)

@doctorbob: I wholeheartedly agree with that view !!! :tu:

@ Spring Goose: Thanks for caring...all these posts have brightened my day considerably :)

That's great news :) But I was always confident. Someone who can survive Pendulate and Monique clearly has excellent stamina.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Ta! :tu: With Monique it was a close call, though :wink: Also, to end on a positive note: I did think it was rather nice for percussion.

Though I may shift around a bit yet. Some most impressive tracks there ! Funny how it's rounds with the 'lesser' synths that impress me the most :ud:

Instead of sleeping: voting, voting, voted! I, for one, am just so glad Trump is gonna win this one! Write-ins are allowed, right? It's great we have at least one election he can win! Wait...
