Come on! 4x oversampling.
I am running KVR @96kHz 384xOS already; yet there is still quite some Aliasing, which doesnt seem to fall beneath Ambient Noise Level. :phones:

And mad props to the mysterious Dan Worrall for sure.

I have been comparing it to Pitchmonster and think Manipulator might suit me more as I have Infiltrator 2 already and it seems to have some of the algorithms from Pitchmonster already. Plus Manipulator seems more extreme, whcih I prefer

Why do you feel a need to talk about stuff you most obviously have not the first clue about?

WUP is between 12 and 18$ per plugin and WUPing all expired plugins in one go is capped at 240$.

That is if one even needs to do that in the first place, which on Windows is highly unlikely, since even the
ancient V9 are available as VST3 and run flawlessly on Win11.
Frankie.T wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 9:05 pm i saw different videos where people show how much the WUP costs

So there you have it: a lot of folks talk a lot of bull on Youtube-videos, which is why many of us more knowledgeable guys don't like to waste our time on videos we expect to be unworthy of it. ;-)
You miss the point, that's why maybe "many of you" should "waste" some time watching some video to learn from other people experience.
Are you for real?

I "miss the point"? I quoted a very specific claim YOU made and I very specifically replied to it. There is no way I could "miss the point" with that. Your claim was:
Frankie.T wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 8:11 am Because that few bucks may be more than the actual plugin cost while on sale, and they do sales almost all the time
That claim of yours is even in this reply of mine which you quoted (i.e. your quote includes your original (false) claim).
Since you seem to have troubles a) remembering what you claimed and b) even comprehending your own claim in case you fail to remember it, I will make it easier for you by using bold letters when quoting you:

Since - going by your previous mental performance here in this thread and elsewhere - I fear you might still might have troubles remembering, understanding and comprehending what the actual, original point was; let's be on the safe side here and also underline it:

This is what I replied to. Your answer to this reply then claims I "missed the point" before continuing to go off on a tangent, completely ignoring the subject of my quote and subsequent reply of and to your original claim.
i.e. you know when on sale most of their plugins are around $29, so i consider this the real price, cause they almost always offer discounts, and this is the first things i don't like.
If they think their plugin worth that money why price them up?
This is completely unrelated to your original claim I replied to, which was:
Frankie.T wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 8:11 am
Because that few bucks may be more than the actual plugin cost while on sale, and they do sales almost all the time
Anyway, you buy that plugin at $29 then after a couple of years, your dear Apple release some new OS that break compatibility, because of software or hardware, and you need an updated version, so you pay like $15? ok.

This is completely unrelated to your original claim I replied to, which was:
Frankie.T wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 8:11 am

Another few years and mom Apple break compatibilit again (they like to do that too much imho, but that's another topic) and here we are again, another $15. So you bought your plugin twice.
No, that is not buying the plugin twice.

It is paying update fees twice (over the course of many years) because you changed the system you run the plugin on twice in a way that made the original plugin you purchased incompatible to these new systems and therefore the plugin vendor needed to re-code the plugin to make in compatible with your new changed systems and chooses to charge you for it.
If you have more plugins the price became even higher, so you endup to pay just to use a product you've already payed for.
No, as I already told you (it is in the bit you quoted, for crying out loud - do you needme to req-uote that in bold letters as well?), WUPing several plugins at once is capped at 240$, so if anything it becomes cheaper.
There are other companies that support software without paying any cent.
This - once more - is entirely unrelated to your original claim I replied to.

But I will reply anyway: yes, just like there are companies who simply discontinue plugins they have
no desire to support and update anymore and just like there are companies who have vanished by the time you require an update to a new system. Waves has seen many a praised, beloved and worshipped vendor come and go.
But again everyone here is free to do and choose whathever they feel the best for them, i just don't like paying multiple time for a plugin i've already bought, is that hard to understand?
What is hard to understand for me is what might be going on in your brain to perform such a (pathetically poor and failed I hasten to add) goalpost-moving stunt as you just did.

However there is clearly also something else you don't like:
remembering your own original claim others replied to when answering them - so let me remind you of it one last time:

So you don't want to click and read something about a men that have the "issue" we are talking for, just with the excuse of me, not because this is enough to show this is a real issue some people have with wup.
You are also showing to prefer to complain people in a very harsh way, instead to trying to help someone who may need your knowledge, that i'm sure would require you less time than reply to me, and for obvious reason would be something useful.
But i know it's easier to blame and spread hate to people than trying to help, everyone make his choice, now i understand yours
