Arturia giving away the new Filter MS-20!!!

After playing with for a while , it wont give you the same result as their ms 20 plugin which sounds glorious .
ON the effect plugin there is always a low frequency bump present ( clean and dirty filter mode )
The vst MS20 only has the low freq bump in the less cpu intensive mk 2 setting ( ota )
So, when using the vst plugin in mk1 setting ( K35 filter thus no bumb ) going into the filter effect , the bump is always there , regardless filter type.
So I assume that the filter effect is just the ota version (mk2) with some minor tweaking and doesn't have the K35 (mk1 ) setting ,which would explain the low cpu footprint on both filters compared to the vst .

Are you reporting all your findings to Arturia?

I don't think they care at all
I reported that the custom (user) wavedistortion function in their cz is completly wrong implemented , the breakpoints should move across the x-axis instead of the y-axis .

I didn't find the time to play enough with it, so I didn't have the chance to look for bugs and make comparisons... Anyway my first impression is positive, it sounds similar to what my MS-20 Mini to my ears and I appreciate being able to use the ESP preamp ITB.


Speaking of Arturia support, I think it's worth writing them.
Last week I opened a ticket late at night (after coming home from a xmas dinner with my colleagues... I couldn't sleep!!!), suggesting a (hopefully small) feature request for the MS-20 filter and reporting a small minor bug on the website. They replied the very same morning. The website was fixed that same day and they said they were going to forward my suggestion to the dev team. So they do listen, at least in my experience (mind you: this doesn't mean they will implement what I suggested, I know they'll have to evaluate it and decide if it's worth it and if it's manageable...).
Arturia support seems friendly in my experience...
