Anyone got an old installer they can share? The software is copy protected and requires activation so I don't think there's any harm in posting the installer.

Support got back to me and said it sounds like a "download/extraction issue" and to download and try again. I did and it worked!quantum1 wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 4:39 pm So nobody with Windows cannot use Pulse at this moment. No older working version of Pulse is available to download on website, just version 1.10 (which came out on 31/05/2024). Wonder how quickly they will get a Windows working version out?.
But what is that about? It sounds more to me like maybe they had a bad file up for a while and fixed it. I dunno.
Up and running now.

Generally that’s on the person downloading side not the company when things like that happen. No ones fault - it’s tech.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:34 pmSupport got back to me and said it sounds like a "download/extraction issue" and to download and try again. I've been at this a long time and have over a thousand plugins. I've had corrupt zip files. But I've never had a zip file successfully download then extract, an installer successfully run, a plugin successfully validate in my host, the plugin open the host and function, pass dry signal just fine, but then not pass "wet" audio due to a corrupt download. Have you?
Then for that have happened to others as well?
It's no matter. The issue is resolved now but I suspect it's more likely they had a corrupt installer up for a bit and fixed it.

I download twice on 1st June and contacted Support 3 times to report bug. I was not contacted by Support to download again.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 6:34 pmSupport got back to me and said it sounds like a "download/extraction issue" and to download and try again. I have just downloaded again on seeing these posts and installed as before and Pulse is working as it should, so something has been fixed. All is good.

I just checked the 'current' Pulse 1.1 windows installer on their website against the one I downloaded when the update was announced, original has a date-stamp of 2024-05-31 and current one of 2024-06-03, and file size and CRC have also changed, so obviously they HAVE updated the install files ( would have saved confusion if they'd bumped the version from 1.1 to 1.1.1 and updated the version history to match in that case )

Recently switched to a new laptop (MBP, M3 Pro) and now none of my Wave Alchemy reverb plugins will work (including Pulse).
It asks me to enter my email and serial number, I do it and I get an "invalid file" message. Tried contacting support twice now with no reply. Tried deleting and reinstalling, no joy. Really bummed. Absolutely love these reverb plugins. Especially Pulse & Glow.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you solve it? Any advice is much appreciated. I've got dozens of projects sitting idle waiting for this to be solved.
Cheers

Hi!
Sorry to revive/hijack this thread, but this is the only one I found describing this strange No-Wet-Sound from waves alchemy plugins. I purchased the wave alchemy reverb bundle and none of the plugins gives me wet sound.
I only see the output meter signalling if I open reaper in the admin account, but weirdly, there i can´t hear any sound from reaper at all .
I tried to re-install the plugins, re-install the drivers, in various accounts, I tried routing and different devices in reaper, different sound setting in windows 11, etc, but nothing, no wet sound from the plugins.
I wrote to wave alchemy support but so far no answer. From what i read here, I guess this is something to be fixed by waves alchemy? Or do you have any suggestions?

I actually managed to resolve this issue.
The solution was rather simple:
Since everything worked under admin rights, I figured it was an permission/rights issue. (that i can´t hear anything reaper produces when logged in as admin is a different puzzle I was not able to solve so far, and most likely never will.)
So I installed under admin rights (right click, "run as admin") and after registration - in admin mode, so you have to open Reaper as admin [right click...], load the plugin and register - I copied the wave alchemy folder (after registration the folder contains a license file) in user\adminaccount\appdata\roaming\wavealchemy) into my usual mix account user\mixaccount\appdata\roaming.
Now it works and I´m happy because the reverbs are really nice.
Only drawback, wave alchemy did not respond the last two weeks and probably never will. So much for customer support.

Hi, I bought a WavesAlchemy plugin - again.
The plugin installs without errors, but if you load it into Reaper it has no GUI.
The loFi GUI issue and how to fix it:
Based upon my experience (above), I checked the install in the corresponding folders in the Admin account and in my working account.
I found that the content of the file "settings.json" installed in the work account was different from the content of the file installed in the admin account. I copied the content of the admin account (3 files, including settings.json) into the work account folder, replacing the settings file which was located there. This restored the GUI of the plugin.
Hope that helps someone.
Here the Paths where WaveAlchemy plugins are installed (on my computer):
C:\Users"AdminAccount"\AppData\Roaming\Wave Alchemy\Lofi Spring
and C:\Users"YourWorkAccount"\AppData\Roaming\Wave Alchemy\Lofi Spring
