sure, but who's foolish (?? well that's relative) enough to justify price of a control room treatment for *home* use. I know some pro facilities who have lower-standard and lower-priced (project) rooms, so you hire control room with a mixer and gear and a trained person only when you need it, I worked as a bass player with several projects which cut expenses this way. To me, that's the point of having a smaller facility at *home*, where you can work on edits and whatnot, or even final product - but can transfer your work to a pro facility if so required. I'm thinking of having such home-room (both for audio and multimedia) for some years now. Managed to do some work in an untreated environment so far.
