His ignorance of Podium is truely showing!spaceman wrote:I agree..
Podium's UI is a f**k of a lot better that Tracktions twingly twinky hupsadaisy children UI (20-40% better some people might tell you)
cubarse and to some extend sonar I can understand.. but not Podium.. it's a dream to work in
Anyone that has use Podium for more than 2 seconds knows that the mixer and other windows can be minimized in seconds and defaults saved. IOW, the interface can be customized to your preferences. If one can't figure that out, their opinion is worthless.
BTW-I use other hosts as well as Podium, I just have an appreciation for well thought out guis.

I think he rather meant Clueless, Bohr
who was of course only joking when he simply 'listed' all sequencers he could think of...

Now if you will excuse me I have a universe to ponder, relativity speaking!

Gotta say I'm disappointed... The midi tweaks are nice - ability to set default length/velocity and step editor. Also its much cleaner moving/resizing with the draw tool.
But everything else I can't really see big changes where they were needed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but where is:
-clip-based vst automation?
-better quantize tools? (ie. quantize certain notes, not just clips by percentage?)
-improvements to the sampler? (looks identical)
To me this was basic stuff that everybody knew T2 needed.
Finally, the default colour scheme is absolutely awful. T1 wasn't perfect, but it was easy on the eyes. I realize its configurable, but why choose such a terrible default?

(i.e. Tracktion's quantizing-options always kicked ass)

No Jens, its not there. As I said, you can quantize whole clips by percentage but not just a selection of notes. Or if you can, do tell how
