Thanks, Gregjazz! When this thread popped back up I was hoping that a working link would manifest as I missed this the first time around...
Thanks again!

Really cool! It's amazing what you can do to a soundfont. Are you the person that created that fab "Ultimate Guitar Kit"? If you are, could you please recommend some Soundfont Enhancer settings to get a nice lead guitar sound?
Thanks. Keep up the good work...

I know you can turn up the random trigger setting to make it so that when it's in mono mode it randomly triggers. It makes it more realistic sometimes, especially with those bluesy trills (think Hendrix!)
The vibrato is geared for guitars, too, since it's not a plain sine wave LFO...

Well, in that case, let me thank you for the soundfont too! I use it all of the time. Thanks for your generosity and hard work!Gregjazz wrote:Guilty.DJ_Bach wrote:Really cool! Thanks. Keep up the good work...Yes I was the one responsible for the free Ultimate Guitar Kit soundfont. Hmmm I'll have to see what I can cook up in the Soundfont Enhancer using it.

That's an earlier version, believe it or not.bambooman wrote:hm, got confused...
i already got something called "soundfont enhancerV2"
was this one made by someone else?!
DJ_Bach, yeah it's mono. Sorry about that. How did it not play the Ultimate Guitar Kit incorrectly? I imagine it won't get the release samples correctly (not many soundfont players do), but was any of the mapping messed up or anything?

There was no response for program 1. Hitting midi notes caused no sound. There were some random sounds with program 2. I didn't try the other programs. Maybe you could load the soundfont and see what happens.

Ah okay, I see what you're talking about. It seems like it DOES play the release samples correctly, but it can't handle any sample ranges overlapping...DJ_Bach wrote:There was no response for program 1. Hitting midi notes caused no sound. So that's a problem. Also the mono output thing. And also I notice some click sounds in mono mode with retrigger on. Let's see if I can fix some of these...
