I've been here nearly 3 years at KVR, and in less than a month he is nearly caught up with my post count....and most of it is probably trolling....

...then again, I don't post too much. :)

You sure do post a lot when this kid shows up.

In my honest opinion, this kid has been doing the same thing since 2001 (or longer?) and doesn't seem to have learned from his mistakes, hasn't stopped trolling, etc. or doing anything he's been accused of doing. He's totally disregarded any constructive criticism (or any criticism) given to him and, by the looks of it, steals code and images from copyrighted sources (like his mp3 player's buttons are exactly the same as those found on Winamp's classic skin).

This Aafuss has disrespected those who've tried to help him, as well as the forums he's posted in (by trolling and posting his programs in the middle of topics, which is just rude), doesn't seem to have progressed very far in his programming ability (if at all) and he comes off, at least to me, as much too self-absorbed. He therefore will not gain my respect, and has lost the respect of countless other people and communities.

He obviously knows about copyright laws (he said so in an interview I read), so he must know that what he's doing is wrong and he simply won't listen, so why bother with the guy or his programs?

That's it. Can we just put it to bed and ignore the guy? If he keeps doing this, it's only a matter of time before some company comes down on him - hard. By being all "we hate you!" you're just giving him what he seems to want - attention.

And now that I think about it, I'm probably just as guilty of that now too. :dog:

The whole thread is like a telephone conversation with a dead reciever on one end.

"Blah blah blah blah"
"Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?"
"Blah blah blah blah"
"Ah f*ck it!"
*hangs up*

For a community of developers I'm surprised he hasn't been shown the door yet. We have a zero tollerance policy on copyright infringement here, and Babya is distributing software that still has a Yamaha logo on it...

I don't know if the Yamaha program is abandonware or what, but either way he's violating Yamaha's trademark. I don't care if he's a toddler, I say we ban him before this gets any worse.
Excuse all the blood.

only bigbossben can ban ...

... i for one am enjoying the sport (more so if the little twat would actually respond ... having taught sufferers i think the asbergers comment was ENTIRELY plausible though)

Yes, the Babya Guitar Amp thread does include several actual replies from aafuss, apparently not generated by a badly-written chatbot script.

(... but he still hasn't answered what I think is the most important question which is: Exactly what modifications has he made to the projects he claims to have been given permission to pass off as his own work? Stay tuned!)

aafuss:

I love all your programs! Especially your Operating Systems. I have it installed on all my computers. You are simply great.

I can send you screenshots of your System running allover here!

I am glad to see you working on the Logic Series! I would be willing to pay allot of money for that. :)

It seems to be the best music software available at the moment.

Big respect! Keep the excellent work!

Oh yeah:

There is one difference, on the Steinberg one you can move the pick around to change the sound. Does this mean the Babya one is modeling the sound with the pick between the strings? So it makes that buzzing sound? :hihi:

Does anyone else find this as funny as I do? Too lazy to take the pick out while taking the photo...a "quit" button on a softsynth. 8 tracks with transpose.I love it!! This is the funniest post I have ever seen! Total f**king genious, I'm in tears!!!

:hihi:
