Discovery Pro synthesizer 6.4 to 8.0

After installing the 7.8.2 version there is no sound at all coming from the plugin. I went back to 7.8.0 and the sound is there again.

I am on Windows 11, Cubase 12 and I always install VST2 only.

Am I to understand that unless you purchasded Discovery Pro within the last month there's a $74.99 fee essentially for updated preset management and some nebulous dsp upgrades - twice the detail in the osciallators/twice the richness in the filters?! Good luck with that...

Sadly it's a hard pass from me, and with the likes of Arturia offering free major updates to Pigments, Microfreak/Minifreak for example, this is impossible for me to justify spending any more of my hard earned on
