ok:
rebooting game did not help but i found the solution
here under mojave the presets are stored in:

~/Music/Vital/User/Presets/

Downloaded, Installed , then got a nice black window with an error message:
Vital requires OpenGL version 1.4
Supported version: 1.3

Is there a workaround, or I should forget this synth?
In my environment (win10 64bit, Reaper) other synths like Pigments, Avenger, Phase Plant ... etc are running without problems...

Wow, OpenGL 1.4 is like more than 15 years old pretty much every graphics card has been supporting that for ages now, I guess you could try updating your drivers.

Looking forward to finally play around with this synth, huge thanks to Matt!

If you're luck enough to be able to afford the latest cutting-edge computer, fine, but not everybody can. Lucky lucky you! Updating drivers is impossible on my machine - there are no drivers for it that support the latest OpenGL. I tried it in order to try and use the latest Blender.

when I ran the exe on Win 10, there was a separate folder which included the necessary Open GL installer. Might want to check there.

Is the Factory preset bank really only 4 presets?
And I saw a video showing preset bank called "Afro" but I don't seem to have it (in the video he was using the free version, I have the Plus so I think I should have the same ones as in the free version?)?
Also in the video he had something like 7 presets in the Factory bank...

ok, did some tests with preset location on mojave that is (mac os x):

i can put teksonic's here:
~/Music/Vital/Vital Teksonik 02/

works fine
also including the wavetables
(in re teksonic's own folderstructure)

now i can also read the preset-name-titles clearly; i.e.: they get displayed

hmm..well...yes...each and every macosx incarnation gets more confusing...
especially the plugin/preset/whatsoever-predefined-location-of-things
becomes more and more of a pita imho

might probably have something to do with the strict closing
of osx system disk...

i keep getting that error too.

on my mac, the preset location has always been either library>audio>presets, or home>library>audio>presets. for years... but you may have pointed vital to a different location (which is fine).

Free version includes 5 TTWT requests per day, just tried here and it's working.

The "Factory" folder actually only includes Matt's presets, all the other presets are stored in different folders using the designer's name. However I have the free version and I have 7 presets in my factory folder, so it looks like you might be missing a few.

I don't know your financial situation or your system. However, out of curiosity I just checked the prices for cheap graphics card. Here in Germany you can get one for 40€ that supports DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5. So for that money you could get a new card, the ability to play with the latest Blender and use Vital.

According to the site it says "The full synth with all features" so I assume it does. This is what I get every time:

Are you signed in to your Vital account ? Click the hamburger icon where the save preset menu is and see if it says Log Out. Is your DAW blocked at the firewall ?

Others are reporting the issue at the Vital forums (unless that's you).
