Often wondered myself, perhaps the 1,700,000 viewings are divided by more than we think. Mind you, I'd imagine that I have visited this thread several thousand times, so it's possible that there are only about 850 visitors all doing the same.Numanoid wrote:Why keep this thread as sticky at the very top of sub-forum, if it is only going to be a club for a small clique who can't handle a wry comment now and then?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who goes through the trouble of posting links here for the rest of us. Lots of great finds in this thread.

you might have most of them but I reckon Feeza will be new to you as it was originally payware.

I'm glad you bought that up because I thought all links were dead, but drop the archive and it's still active in his box; https://www.box.com/shared/0bif3ivr4w

off topic again: one day you will probably need this; i did.
http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd
download and burn the cd with the app included. don't say i
didn't tell you. you probably already know about this, but if
you didn't..
includes two wicked ramdrive OS's: miniXP and a Linux, similar
to what Jimi described in the past; you can literally boot to
a RAM OS and go online without having anything at all on your
hard drive. also good for retrieving files in a catastrophic
situation.
