Scarfs are supposed to be colorful so I took care...

On or before December 30, but Squids wrote this on the last page:kitekrazy wrote:So.......when will we be able to download this?
Squids wrote:Hmmm... we might be able to release the Infinite Player and bonus multitrack kit, EZ Player pro (the bonuses for hitting 300) a little early like beginning of next week. That way you could get started with both this kit not running in demo mode and also the bonus kits... but before I say that we can do that officially let me check with the guys and make sure that's okay to do without it becoming a mess for them. Just so you know, I am always here talking to you all on the forum and doing things for you and then often I get grumbles from Allen and the team because they're the ones who have to manage it on the back end... but they really don't mind and know that we put the customer first. Whatever it takes on our end it takes. We just want to be able to keep track of it and do it in an organized way though is all. A challenge for a custom product that changes over the course of the month but it can be done and we've done a lot of these group buys before so... let's see. The goal is to make you all happy!
Not quite; as I understand it (starting from scratch):hydemusic wrote:So then I load the zip file in the Infinite Player on the left side?

DarkStar That's what I thought but when I hit the instruments underneath, I see nothing at all. I guess I need to find the folder...Incidently I'm just getting to the old DM GB. I' a slow learner. To me Kontakt is harder than Sonar and that's hardDarkStar wrote:[*]then install the Drum Kits from the Group Buy using a Library Installer supplied by Sonic Reality (this will put the kit component files in all the right places)

People often recommend that, when Infinite Player (or any Kontakt-based app) is first installed, the standalone program is started first to configure it and browse to the Library, if needed, and only then is the VSTi used.

Thanks again. I'll probably ask this question a bazillion more times. It's like an Odysee... I see the end but just don't know how to get there, one day I will
I'll copy this and bring it over to esoundz forum, I don't want to bum anyone out hereDarkStar wrote:-- no Instrument appears if the Library folder is not found (or has not been added to Kontakt)
363 enrollees, so far.
Great explanation, DarkStar! Modern software can get so complicated!DarkStar wrote:Not quite; as I understand it (starting from scratch):hydemusic wrote:So then I load the zip file in the Infinite Player on the left side?[At least, that is how it was for the previous Infinite Player products, I imagine that it is the same for this GB.]
- you would install Sonic Reality's "Infinite Player plug-in powered by Kontakt"
- then install NI's Service Center (if not already installed)
- then install the Drum Kits from the Group Buy using a Library Installer supplied by Sonic Reality (this will put the kit component files in all the right places)
- then use Service Center to unlock the Kits by Authorizing Infinite Player, using the Serial Number from Sonic Reality
- when you then start Kontakt the Library should show up in the list, but you may need to browse to the sounds library
If you already have Kontakt Player 3.5 or 4 installed you can use that app to play the Kits. Here is a Kit in the IP Library in Kontakt Player 3.5:

If you want me to help out with this, I can. I'm just hanging around and working on my own music projects, so I can give it a whirl if you need something tested.Squids wrote:I haven't posted the NKM yet. I will this weekend though but before we unleash it on everyone perhaps I can try it out with a few people to see if it loads without having to search (not that it is a big deal to search the samples but the less steps the better).
