The question is, how is it possible, that Luftrum overlooked these bids twice and also - WHY bidders did not react, that they are not on the list on the first page with higher bids...

It's natural for Luftrum to miss stuff. He's only human

...but it was the fact that bidders aren't pointing out theses as they happen that made me wait a few days before pointing some out (there's a few more).
As it happened before, I'm not sure if some were changes/retractions I missed, so better the bidders check for themselves, I think.

I only mentioned ones that will help raise the total bidding with higher bids than the ones currently registered.

I'm sure in the end, all will be sorted out as usually is, but IMHO the earlier that happens, the quicker things will be solved and it might even make new bids happen (especially on the ones I didn't post about, where the actual bids were lower than what was registered).

) his bid on Voices of Rage, so that's one of the cases explained.

I realize this is a discussion for after the auction, but I propose that if you withdraw one bid that you are removed from the auction for that year. There's no reason to bid early just to withdraw and going back to the last bidder could mess up that person's bidding (as they thought they'd already lost the item when they were outbid).

BTW: I always check first post with bids, then I'm looking for Lufrum's last checkpoint + checking newer posts if there are higher bids. If Soren overlooked something - I know, he's only human being - I'm not able to find it out too.

Anyone who placed higher bid should check the first page (at least next day if it is possible) and shout if his/her bid is missing (after checkpoint).
