I do like the combined envelope/LFO thing going on with it that fakes a delay. But I just don't think I'm going to be convinced to replace my Just Friends, or to give up some other thing to make the space.vurt wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 7:09 pm in todays video they showed some of the chaining function, where end of cycle, triggers next stage, rather than re-cycling itself. some pretty cool effects to be found there!

I know you’re not a fan of Jumbler, and I’m not either, but that could change once the others come. That’s a hope at least (since I already own it).
Either way, the point being that it’s a lot of space to shift around.

I’ve splurged a little, but I see it more as a late birthday present to myself than anything crazy.
Nice Yamaha bass (a BB735a) and an Ampeg preamp. Been wanting a better bass for a while to force me into learning how to play one properly.

From the department of cheap crap that I'm really happy with, comes this:

$70, $10 less without the bluetooth.
I am forever wanting to plug something audio in on my desk without going through a sound card, also, I want to have basic EQ on a stereo path, also, I want to zero sound with a quick non-computer interaction because I have multiple computers and a KVM on my desk and so it can be a pain if I get a phone call.
This sounds fine, is not noisy, at all. Also gives me bluetooth if I want to use a mobile device for sound, and a crossfader and 1/4" mic input and 1/4" headphone output in VERY tiny package. No, not Teenage Engineering tiny, but still. Very sturdy steel case. A quick swipe of the crossfader and my background music is silent.

Ordered a Korg NTS-3, a Rode M5 mic pair, and a 3-legged, 2-armed NEEWER T91 tripod stand thingy as the Whirrings video made it look quite handy.
(Plus a Bambu Mini A1 3D printer, but it might not be musical enough for some.)

Jelly right now. I'm on that edge of ordering more shop tools, it's just a strange time to try and buy the stuff that you might buy from importers in the U.S.whyterabbyt wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 11:20 am Ordered a Korg NTS-3, a Rode M5 mic pair, and a 3-legged, 2-armed NEEWER T91 tripod stand thingy as the Whirrings video made it look quite handy.
