Regarding the order of notes, the ”strictly correct” ordering where the delay time increases/decreases with each step always looks super confusing to me
I much prefer grouping the notes with the same basic time division together, like so:
1/16 T - 1/16 - 1/16 D - 1/8 T - 1/8 - 1/8 D ....
Of course this means that the actual delay time is jumping up and down a bit, but it’s still much easier for me to find the value I’m looking for in this type of list. A matter of preference, of course, and I have seen both styles used in different plugins.

For me there is no dilemma. You adjust delay time when unsynced from min to max value in ms. If you're sharing the same control (a slider) for tempo sync, and you don't have additional modifiers (like a dropdown menu to choose straight/dotted/triplet, or separate buttons), then the slider needs to follow exactly the same order that I posted, by actual duration. It's the only logical way in that particular case.
Anything else I find unintuitive personally (and also grossly misleading).

Never mind the ordering: what is stated in the UI to be 1/8dot is actually 1/16dot; what is stated to be 1/4dot is actually 1/8dot, etc. The label is wrong, is all.

This sounds amazing.
The discount is really tempting; shame it's all but swallowed up by (here in the UK) VAT!

I can confirm this seems to be the case!suthnear wrote: Mon Jan 18, 2021 8:47 pm Never mind the ordering: what is stated in the UI to be 1/8dot is actually 1/16dot; what is stated to be 1/4dot is actually 1/8dot, etc. The label is wrong, is all.

Btw, I keep forgetting to mention this.
And no I get no financial or other rewards/compensation, but if you are like me and mostly preset player, I saw a commercial bank on tal's j8 page under presets.
Followed it here: https://www.app-sound.com/tal-software/
Loved what I heard and ended up buying five banks (one j-8, one obsession, one dune 2, one repro 5- and repro -1) and really like all of them..
I think his bank really further 'illustrates' how great a sound engine this is (same with the obsession one too).

Something that seems really wrong: Env Mod 1 > VCF feeds to the filter even if it’s set to "0". There should be no modulation when Env Mod 1 > VCF is set to 0. Tried this with v1.2.6.

Not happening here either. Check if you're in "Dual" or "Split" mode and make sure you're on the correct Upper/Lower panel. What you're hearing could be happening on the other panel.Weasel-Boy wrote: Mon Jan 18, 2021 11:06 pm Something that seems really wrong: Env Mod 1 > VCF feeds to the filter even if it’s set to "0". Set your unit like my screenshot, move Env 1's attack up and down while hitting keys. Over here, I am hearing filter envelope modulation, in spite of the fact that the Env Mod slider is set to "0". This is the VST3 version. What am I missing here? Cubase 11/OSX 10.14.6

Might be easier to send the patch....
I tried again..... nope. not on my end and I too am using Cubase 11 on 10.14.6 using vst 3.
Can you do a midi clear and then a midi lock and see if it is happening still.

Move the Env1 Attack slider around while hitting keys. I can definitely hear the filter being modulated. MIDI Clear/Lock do nothing to change this.

Interesting.
I can definitely hear it in your example.
Let me see if I can dissect why.
Has something to do with the Velocity Sensitivity set to modulate VCF.
Will you report it to Patrick?
