Prototype... This is my only disappointment after learning of it.

I guess it's a good thing for me because I can recuperate after jumping on the Elektron bus.

I also still need to plan the next phase of euroracking.

The Klavis filter seems like the brute force granular approach, similar to the stuff I was doing a while
back with the Flux Sequencer and the Rossum Assimil8or, E.g. triggering samples as ludicrous speeds, or in the filter's case, chopping up your audio super fast. Hopefully the filter has some elegant means of smoothing things out.

One good thing about Klavis is that they distribute via Amazon, so free shipping and whatnot.
Their pricing is pretty reasonable IIRC as well, though I never bought anything from them yet,
the stuff comes well recommended.

Maths arrived today, strange to get a Sunday delivery from Royal Mail, but hey ho let's go 1234...

So, things I've been playing with initially is using it to run fast cycle mode filter envelopes. It's worth the price of admission for that alone as it's adding some great stuff. Can't wait to find out what else I can use it with.

Maths is great! You can do loads of stuff with it. I need to buy another at some point, it's fricken huge tough.

What?! When I got my first Maths in 2009 a lot of us complained that it was too cramped...

and once you realise how much it can do, which may take a while, it doesn't seem so big.

id imagine anyone could find at least one use for it in every patch.

Absolutely, I use the voltage mirror, clock divider and comparator patches as frequently as I use the slopes as envelopes or LFOs. But now that I've gotten accustomed to DUSGs, I feel like that is the right size/configuration for a set of slopes. With Maths, I always have the knobs covered with cable spaghetti!
This was my first attempt at a dynamic bouncing ball patch with Maths, from way back when:

I went for Rampage, partly because of DIY kit option and partly because I prefer the control layout.

But yeah, dual slew modules are useful for so much! Recently I got a Sport Modulator 2 and still figuring out things that can do; it's based on the SSG so kinda the "other" dual function generator family...
