Was demoeing this for the 2nd time last night. Was replacing some current reverbs on my aux sends. B2 brought so much depth and width to the mix it was insane. Have to say this is an excellent plug! Really enjoying making reverbed delays with it as well.

This uses B2 across the stereo mix at mastering stage.
The ambience glues things together.

At $249, is it worth the price? With its twin reverbs, modular design, excellent presets, and ample EQ filtering/modulation/attitude options available, I would say it's definitely worth it. 2CAudio also has another price option with four expansion preset packs included for $299, which would give you over 800 additional presets. For me personally, it's the best reverb/spatial processor I have ever heard.

Very nice and smooth...I have been looking for that elusive reverb that sounds good just on solo piano and sounds like this is it!...what B2 preset did you use for that recording? Any other B2 presets (at least as a starting point) you recommend trying out for solo piano? Thanks.Galbanum wrote:B2 on solo piano. Hope you enjoy:

I made several for B2. that I used on my solo piano album which I am trying to release ASAP. (It's been done since April or so and I am now working on the second one, but I held it over the summer to wait for a fall release, and now I am waiting for my new Galbanum website to be done.)
The B2 piano presets are in here:

This particular song uses one of the "Piano Palace" presets, or some minor tweak of one of them...

Thanks. I try. I might like to try to give concerts one day, but it is rather impossible with the amount of time I spend developing software at the moment. I would have to practice performance for 8 hours a day for at least 6 months to feel confident enough to attempt it. This type of music sort of expects perfection every time in performance, and my playing is not perfectly consistent enough for that without consistent practice.xtrax wrote:Really peaceful composition. It was one of first musical loves though and will always be an important part of my musical life. Originally I taught myself piano b.c I wanted to make ambient electronic music but I could not afford to purchase a synth at the time, so I decided to learn music on piano first and then move to (or at least add) synths.
From there sound-design, to EDM, to scoring, to DSP, and now it feels good to come full circle and release some purely human piano music.
Plus I need a new girlfriend, and chicks don't really get too excited when I talk about DSP math unfortunately...
And the next 2CAudio thing is highly futuristic, so it's good to be human now while I can...

Call you next product "In a Relationship"Galbanum wrote:Plus I need a new girlfriend, and chicks don't really get too excited when I talk about DSP math unfortunately...(If that sounds sexist, I apologize--I'd love to meet the counter example... please point me to her!

Then you can say to your new date "Hi, I'm Andrew. I coded 2C Audio In a Relationship"
Surely she you fall for you instantly...

That's one great piece of music (and ambiance).
Can't really afford B2, but obviously you are one hell of a talent !
