+1 and just realized that you are the cinebient who created a lot of my most favorite Repro presets! Which I feel very lucky to have!

They maybe, I haven't tried them, just looked at the file format (.h2p) and recognised it from Zebra (maybe Repo is the same?)

Yeah - Repro presets are .h2p too ;)

So how's the resource usage on this? For full mpe support and a nice PM engine I wasn't expecting too much as far as a clear interface. Equator (v1) is a trainwreck for gui stuff but the flexibility and full implementation of mpe make it worth using. I'll definitely be trying this out in depth and as long as it doesn't kill my cpu or crash I'll be a happy camper. So is this fully released with a demo and such? I stopped paying attention for a bit after they missed a few deadlines. Anyhow I think this can do things that wouldn't be possible with many other things so a strange gui is fine with me. Absynth was the same way but it is still a go-to for lots of my work.

Also, I still run windows 7. The site says 8 or better. Is this a problem in practice? It usually is not but I figured I'd ask.

I'm on Windows 7 and haven't seen any problems. CPU usage is high (on my ~9 year old Xeon), but not terrible. A demo version is available, so check it out! There's a link for it right at the top of the homepage.

Here are a couple things I would like to see in Plasmonic:

1) Response curves on modulators such as mod wheel, velocity, aftertouch, macros, etc.
2) Option for an independent resonator for noise.

Rationale:

Response curves are obvious. Getting the precise expression you want, particularly when multiple targets are assigned to the same modulator, is often not possible at present.

As for the independent noise regulator: Noise shaping often requires a very different resonator response to get the tone you want, compared to the OSCs and Impulse. As it is now, you have to aim for a happy medium. This would be an optional thing, i.e., you could choose to have a separate resonator for noise, or include it in the main resonator.

good ideas!

Man. I'm gonna buy this thing. Had an awesome sound going and then the demo died. I would love to see a mixer where you can blend between all the different filter/resonator routings (I'd really love to see a full feedback routing through both stages, but that seems like it might be a harder programming task). Being able to dynamically swap between both serial configurations, just filter, just resonator, and parallel would make for some fun stuff. Some of the stuff can be done with modulation, but you can't switch the signal flow to the opposite direction which eliminates some possibilities.

I wonder if there is any roadmap for what (if anything) will be added over time, has anything ever been hinted!
