Thank you, but I pass on the thanks to GOD.

ps.
Yes, I noticed your new succeeded attempt of being foolish, since I did not say these things for myself.

Why did spake to me than? (That's 'old-english')

If you knew, you had seen, since you haven't seen, you can't know, if you would have heard already you would have listened and didn't post former doubts.
bk wrote:we're all being "trolled"
There seems to be a foolish need to 'troll' me for no reason, or least give it a try, but the "trolls"-perspective isn't coming from me..., for this I need them ;)

If this is a troll, he is a professional, considering his perfect use of the quote function

I'd say a moderator should be called to make something against this gentleman.

Sorry Niels, I already said all I had to say. You don't get it, not my problem. Here we're discussing about VSTi's, not about you.

Guido,

Just go up to one of Niels' postings and click the "mute me" link below his name. All his noise will then disappear from your KvR experience. It's not something to use very often, but in cases like this, it's just the thing.

Woohoo! Just 24 to 48 hours from getting my download link!
Thanks Zio! Been a long time coming but I almost got my crazy hands on your baby!

I really like this trumpet model. It sounds very expressive and "almost real". Say with the right reverb and mixing you wouldn't even guess it ain't real.

The only thing that prevents me from buying it instantaneously is that the muted version sounds kind of odd.

I think I already mailed about that but had no reply. But the mute overtones shouldn't be relative to the main key. It sounds a bit weird this way.

Arn't mute overtones supposed to be floating around the same frequencies ?

this is the example on the gs site: You hear the overtones being pitched in relation to the main tone, which gives a funny sound:

http://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=dl&b=83

and here's some youtube video: you hear that the trumpet's muted overtones sound around the same frequency and just vary in strength and just slightly alter in pitch.

I hope when miles'tone 2 is released this issue will be looked into.

I really like how this trumpet model articulate itself when you play it, how windy it also sounds. It's even more realistic than arturia's or that VCS synth (or what it's called) which sounds totally unnatural.

Just this one thing about the mute overtones bugs me.

sorry to necro this, but i purchased miles'tone years ago. wish i still had it, only have my activation data, no installer or dll file backed up. been using only 64bit for some time now, but was wondering if running FL20 as rewire app in plogue bidule would get me access to miles'tone and other 32bit only plugins, again...

I thought FL20 had its own internal bridge?

Yes, but I got all my hardware set up with bidule. So does fl's bridge work if loading it in bidule as a vst or rewire app?
Then I'd just need to get a hold of the latest version of milestone that I can register... The company is still around I think, I'll see if I can get in touch with Guido...

I dont use FL, but if the bridge works, you dont need Bidule.

But if you're definitely using Bidule, and no bridge, Rewire would be the way to go (otherwise you'd need Bidule 32-bit to host Milestone, and have to bridge that instead of Milestone directly.)

Yeah definitely still around: there was a rather suspiciously timed 64bit update to GS-201 on the same day Audiothing released their equivalent VST Outer Space last year! Definitely would love a 64bit build of Miles'tone - even though the tone itself wasn't perfect, the fluidity that you could play it without worrying about CC changes and still make convincing (ish!) trumpet runs was great fun

To get in touch with Guido seems to be a good idea. I also asked him a few years ago how it goes concerning an update to 64Bit. So if more people ask, maybe this can happen - that would be great. Actually Miles'Tone vanished completely from the website : /

I don't use Bidule - so I don't know how it all could work with FL vsti in Bidule or via Rewire. In FL Studio itself (64Bit) loading Miles'tone 32Bit is no problem at all (because of the integrated bridge in FL) here.

Incidentally I also have a license for gs-201, but it is the only 64bit plug which has been very buggy in bidule. Didn't test other hosts
