Well, lets say that the full feature aspect is a few knows and niggles away... ;)

Being a channel strip alone with several modules does not make it full featured by default.
I agree, some modules do have a pretty good number of features.. but others (especially the limiter and saturation modules) still need some more.. (like a better algo for the limiter with way better release times for mixing, bipolar input so the limiter won't get obsolete if you want to overdrive the saturation stage and use the limiter... saturation drive... the ability to freely configure the signal chain, mid-side eq.... )

For the moment I've decided to make MCP my go to basic mixing tool... if more features will be added soon, it looks like it will sure keep it's rank. (still using other compressors :hihi: :)

Anyway... as it is, it's useful, looks great and overall a very nice plugin with kickass EQ sound quality! So a big up for that one! :tu:

In fact, some might consider getting the plugin for the EQ section alone! :)

Steven, after the hard work and implementing most of the user requests till date, I like to thank you and the DNR team once again and wish you good luck with the current group buy, you deserve it! :)

Just to let you know, it seems like the AV manufacturers are slowly updating their signature files. Avast, for example, doesn't flag it as a Trojan anymore.

Keep up the good work, Mix Control is great!

Thanks for the kind words guys - we've reached max discount on the group buy :) We initially set it very low and still did not think it would reach that level quickly.

Also, the decision to remove the copy protection all together has been made definite, and we will update the installers appropriately as soon as they are ready :)

So glad I got this, excellent strip this is, love the GUI.

And such a generous GB, thanks :D

Just wanted to stop by and tell you that I used MCP today to create some wonderful heavy pumping on the 2-bus with the limiter. I love it. The dynamics of MCP are top notch.

I have been doing a serious deep study of compressors lately, so I checked out MCP for just that reason. Another dev was showing off his channel strip so I figured I'd check out MCP's full feature set for comparison. Overall I really dug the sound of MCP, so I ended up purchasing it in the GroupBuy.

I got this free when I purchased a drum library from DNR. I hadn't really touched it until a month or so ago, but have to say it's been a real revelation. Easy to use, nice to look at (I use the small version), but most of all - it just works brilliantly. Well done, guys and I hope you get loads more sales before the GB is over, you deserve them.

Just a reminder that the group buy is still active :)

I purchased it this morning after a short demo run. I think this is certainly a no-brainer price and will be using it regularly. It seems like a real workhorse channel strip. I had not heard of it before a few weeks ago, but have been suitably impressed by the feature set and the fact that you seem to be making great strides in turning around earlier user perceptions.
The inclusion of a stereo tool is invaluable and all for such a low CPU hit !

Are there installation instructions to Mixcontrol somewhere that I missed?

I have it installed in Cubase 6 x64, and can't open it. When I try, it crashes everything. I assumed that I just open the .vst and then import the license.

Can anyone help me out or point to a step by step instruction that I may have overlooked?

A detailed manual with installation instructions is available in the installer, as well as on the MixControl product page on the right-hand sidebar under "downloads" :) As a reminder, we are still planning on releasing a protection-free version of MixControl any time now, which will not require any licensing. We will notify all users of the new version when it becomes available.
