Hmmm don't have any problems on my i7 3770K. Yes luSH101 can be demanding but I've done several multi layer patches that don't choke my system. I'll check tomorrow and see what numbers I'm getting. :)

Oh and I assume you have Multi Threading enabled in luSH101 ?

Sorry, my mistake, read the previous post.

Yes, multi threading and high quality all. But i5 has 4 cores while i7 has 8 (hyperthreading).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I'll check your Super S patch tomorrow and report what numbers I get. :)

Thank you :tu:

With the buffer size and the host please.
(mine is in a project of 44.1 khz and 128 buffer size, of iTwo audio interface, in Cubase Artist 8.5).

of i5-4570 @ high perfomance (@3.2 to 3.43GHz)

Update:
Sorry, it was not high performance.

With high performance, it is about 25% to 30% for the same preset. I'll upload it now:
i5-6200U @2.4ghz =12% with multi-thread enabled in the options menu.

All 16 voices get me to 40%, double check if the multi-thread is enabled :tu:
100 High Quality Soundsets: Omnisphere 2, Dune 3, Tone 2 Synths, Pigments, Uhe Synths, Halion, Spire, and others.

Which preset? and what host/buffer size/audio driver?

The attached preset - 44khz via fl studio asio at 1024 buffer and 33ms, 256 buffer with 16ms raises to 15%, using Orion DAW

Ok thank you :) I'll check with 256 buffer size and see (of course as it is a pad, i play a chord of 3 notes or 4).

Ok, it seems when I lower the buffer size to 256 (with 10ms/10ms), the results are similar to Touch The Universe results.

I've just did a comparison with 256 buffer size, in both Cubase and Reaper with High Performance in the power options:

A chord of 3-4 notes is about 11% to 13% (in Reaper) and similar indication in Cubase.

Now, if I increase the polyphony from 16 to 32 and the Unison from 2 to 7, it jumps to 20% (both hosts).

This is a great result IMO :D , it seems the buffer size from 128 to 256 is playing essential role in my setup. Well, I'm returning to 256 buffer size then and will enjoy LuSH more :)

Just tried your Super S patch in Reaper 64 bit, 128 sample latency, 44.1k:

1 note = 1.9 % - 2.5 %

6 Notes = 3.2% - 6.6%

Both luSH101 and Reaper set to Multi-Threading. Using Reaper's meter. :)

Thanks for that :) but can you write the RT percentages please? (The real time CPU measure).
