Well, I did as instructed, and it's been almost a week and no word. So I don't know what to do from here.
wait
Fine. For how long? A month, two? At what point do I contact them again? I understand people are busy but some idea of how to proceed would be nice.
Oh come on, the drama can wait a little.
All right. I'll just sit tight and wait. No drama. Just want to be able to release a professional quality library. That's all.

I'll drop it now and get back to working on my library.

1. an UFS which includes the wavetable, IR's and other program resources (included in the installer)
2. A factory soundbank with presets (with a dedicated download)
Okay, so these are separate things. I'm beginning to see how this works after locating the factory ufs in the browser. Pretty cool that the .ufs file acts seamlessly as a directory structure!

I looked into the preferences and the soundbank paths were pointing to two non-existent locations. Creating one of these locations (/Library/Application Support/UVISoundBanks) and copying the file did the trick. Possibly for those with UVI libraries this is second nature (I wouldn't know, as I'm just taking the plunge), but some instructions at the download page wouldn't hurt for us noobs :)

Those search paths are there for legacy reasons, in the past, UFS libraries had to be in either /Library/Application Support/UVISoundBanks or ~/Library/Application Support/UVISoundBanks

Now you can put UFS files wherever you like as long as you don't forget to add a search path to them in the Soundbank preferences.

You can also manually mount them on-demand by double-clicking an UFS file from the Falcon browser exactly like you would mount a disk image. However you'll have to do it every time. If you want them to be mounted by default, use the Soundbank preferences.

Alright! Back to Falcon...I haven't read this thread much, but it seems very much that this instrument has alot of repackaged Mach 5 technology. Golly though, I must say it looks just beautiful.

What do you mean - repackaged? It is the evolution of MachFive, the same developers have built something new based on the DNA of MachFive.

Can anyone give a reason why a layer or program gain can't be modulated by an ADSR of any type ? or is there a workaround ?
I can see there is no note trigger happening.
Mac Studio M4
15.7.3
Cubase 15, Ableton Live 12

Because it only happens at the keygroup level.
It was one of my first questions a few days ago.

I guess because only keygroups work at a per-note basis, I think.

OK I have just installed this (thanks again for the M5 crossgrade)

Not sure if anyone else has reported this but the first experimental patch "Ambient pad quencer" is giving me this message

I have the Falcon UFS mounted so why is it missing? More importantly when I run the search function it crashes in standalone.

EDIT actually the whole bank is reporting missing samples!

Never mind - fixed it. Turns out there was an extraction error with the UFS so it was corrupted, I redownloaded it, working now. Strange that Falcon was able to mount it at all though, maybe it needs to be able to report if a UFS is corrupted?

We do have a verify soundbank integrity function ( right click the sound bank in the full screen browser)

However because computing the checksum of many soundbanks being several GB each is a lengthy operation, we don't check it each time.
