It's a link that I had a long time ago, around 2004-2005. At his years it contained the VST. I have not tried since that time.

Perhaps that between that date and 2011 (date of the disappearance of the website) Roland has forbidden even the content of the zip file (so the file has been reuploaded without the VST). Then, later, when the website disappeared, it has stayed with the zip file in that state.

I imagine that it can be that... Humbly, I don't know.

And I have looked into all my old archive disks, and I confirm... Sadly I have not the two other VSTs either. And I destroyed this SH-101 emulation, probably because it was very poor. Generally I keep the bests (and of course many averages), but those which are really bad I don't keep them after 2 or 3 years. I know that I had it, and if I have deleted it, it's certainly because it was too bad to keep an interest.

As you know, I´ve been collecting Vst-plugins since my "Cubase 5 times", so the years 2001 upwards, as
synthedit was newly born. I have this "SH-101" and these obscure "Roland-emulations".
So I can upload these and will have a look in my cd-collection, if you want.

But beware - the pictures are the best of it. These were made with synthmaker yet and sounds very poor - they had nothing to do with the very good Roland sound and for sure, they vanished extremly fast off the net, ´cos of copyright-law with Roland, it seemed....

So watch this space for some hours.....

Talking of Roland synths, what was the GTG JP-1 supposed to be based around ? I have heard it was a Promars and also a JP4. It sounds prety cool what ever it was 8)

Wow! I didn't know this one among the oldies from GTG.

If I find it (or if someone has it)... I would like to try to play some parts of Chariots of Fire with it!

Hi folks,

I´ve found these old plugs - they have been around in 2007/2008. As I said, the GUI
seems to be the best on it, but try for yourself.
I can remember and that for sure, that I´ve made a bunch of patches for them as a soundprogrammer. If there will be interest, I can look for them and could upload next days. But as you know, from the badest synth you can always get some good sounds - depends on the song.

SH-5.zip
JUP-4.zip
SH_101.rar

Here´s another "emulation" from the same developer, I believe. I think, this plugin
is absolutely "unknown"

Jup8.zip

That´s for now, so try out.....

mmh - I think, I have this too.... but isn´t this hosted at vst4free?

GTG made some good plugs in the past - I liked them very much.....
Btw. only the colours/GUI seemed to be "Roland"-like....and the JP-1 has two Oscillators....
The Jupiter 4 had only one OSC and a Sub-OSC...
for sure, the "Promars" had two OSC´s, but the second had no controls, only finetuning and On/Off.
But is was a analogmonster and had more possibilities as the SH-101....

I have it, I am unsure of GTG and the distribution of their past though. I have a good sized folder of almost all their kit.
