I just got the Jazz loops and was wondering where the accompanying MIDI files are or can I drag and drop into my DAW?

You won't last long around here if you threaten to pirate.

I can understand your frustration, but can't you see why they do that? Many retailers only allow a limited number of downloads (one I know of asks you to only download it once). So maybe you just over-reacted a little?

I have a question to Peter and all users:
Please, tell me - SampleTank 2 has restrictions on quantity of files in "Instruments" folder? I imported some disks AKAI and converted my favourite SF2 libraries to ST2 format, and now, to add new preset, I am compelled to delete any old.

If it not to make, ST2:

- sometimes shows MessageBox "Sorry, the required application resources file ':C:Program Files:IK Multimedia:SampleTank2.5:SampleTank2.x.xrs' can't be found"

- is sometimes started, but sound libraries are not visible.

I am in now. I cant believe I am getting all these sounds for only $25. Jam points came in handy.

I am not seeing the download link yet. How will will it take for me to be able to download all of the sounds?

You'll get a serial number by e-mail which you will then have to register in order for the download offers to show up in your IK user area.

LOL. Once is good enough for now.I might join the LD group buy also. They have a great deal aswell. Man the best deals come when you are broke.

I wouldn't. I bought several of the Lyrical Distortion $10 weekly specials and not one of them plays well. They all have velocity issues and stuff. Even though their guitars come with a lot more articulations than the ones from SR/ST, they are not near as playable. Buyer beware.

Pettinhouse has a 50% offer on all their guitar products (including their bundles). That is a much better way to spend $99 than giving it to LD, in my honest opinion. Even greater value would be to join this GB a second time and take advantage of the loop packs.

LD's electrics are AMAZING. they rival, and in some areas surpass my EWQL ministry of rock library. THe acoustic stuff though is poor. The basses are alright, but there is better.

But yea, you cant go wrong with the electrics, and the lyrical direct thing (the main one you get) is very powerful and sounds very good.

as for pettinhouse, his classical and acoustic guitar (especially the acoustic) are very good. Both of these libraries sound good, as well as have this very unique tone that spearates them from all the other stuff on the market
