Got sick of playing other people's music which I didn't even know on a trumpet (and also my teacher was a total jerkoff), and wanted to play my own music. So, I got a completely rubbish guitar and ... well, started playing other people's songs on that. I picked up bass later on (I dunno why, maybe because when i couldn't stop playing it at my friend's house because it felt good for some reason, I decided I wanted one >.>) and consequently joined a band in which I played more of other people's songs. Later I started playing other people's music from cds at parties and found that people seemed to like what I was putting on, so I started buying 12"s and the worst turntables known to man and I still can't really play them in time. Nowadays I do some live pa in some of the more obscure venues around here because I wanted to start playing my own stuff (and maybe have enough money to eat).
so, in short: because i'm sick of playing other people's music and I want to have something to say for myself!
also it kind of draws attention to myself ...

I'd really like to have 'my chops' on keyboards and guitar/singing/songwritng and I'm working on it, but it's slooooow going, all of this and keeping up with software releases and how to use/master them & Hanging out at forums
takes it's toll I suppose .... so I'm off to practice a bit of lead guitar followed by some chord progression stuff on keyboards and no doubt during these I will be inspired and want to fire up my host to start recording some ideas . I don't do well making money from any of this apart from some upgrades in return for betatesting and so on, so at the moment and I'm thinking of heading overseas to try and earn some money the old way
godamn dayjobs
just so as I can keep this all going. Otherwise it's all going to pass me by as I can't afford even the simplest of things.Which reminds me, big thanks to all you freeware devs, also to the people who have put me forward/used me as a beta tester patch design etc. pity there wasn't freeware food clothing and accomodation
I could do with betatesting a new house atm
Oh and the answer to your question,
BECAUSE I CAN'T STOP

jees we gotta go through this again
as frank said "you'll love it, it's away of life"...
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

In that case, the world will be better off by killing one single animal..namely, you...rather than resuming the killing of thousands of animals....Sauhaq wrote:For every animal you don't eat...I'll eat three....
