nah ... thats bollocks ... i was just reacting in the same 'logical conclusion' way as you have here (as well you know i hope) to andrews implied assertion that hed rather go somewhere where he KNOWS hes likely to get at least a constructive response ...whyterabbyt wrote:Better not do anything then, just in case there are negative consequences.pHz wrote:problem being youre then in danger of a mutual appreciation society ... which wont help anyone ... look what happened to tarnce once it got insular ...

Quit trying to turn the thread into a useless and personal political argument, Rurik.xoxos wrote:the government and service providers must comply - people demand BOX. now! new BOX! with 5% more BOX! hey, you can't argue with that!Sickle wrote:the genre diversity's that wide.

Hey xoxos - you is experiment - checking out your site proves it - and yes its all music - some like it, some don't.
However after reading this thread - there is now a section for yet another diversity of music at the auditorium.
I like the current name of the section - but as don says it might need another name - I am open to suggestions for it.
Essentially though its now in the hands of Don and Grilla plus the artists that would like to participate - it is you guys that can shape the way that section evolves - me? I will put up what is requested (probably post some music too in the future, as I kind of like experimental stuff
)
Best regards,
Peter

sean ... didnt say he shouldnt ... just making the point that if thats the direction ANY community goes then you have a potential problem (especially if the aim of the community in the first place is innovation and experimentation) ...
... i think one of the reasons KVR itself keeps going IS the very diversity of opinion and ideology ...

When was the last time you ever heard one of my pieces

I've never heard any of your music, and that's a sad
oh, you care, i can see the immense amount of concern you have eg. in your consideration of BOX

It's futile. Use the new forum, or don't.
lol. how bout that BOX, eh?
ever used a genre-based forum? half the bloody threads end up being people chasing each other off to the 'proper' BOX, just like western culture..

You read me wrong. Its not about a constructive response. Its about ANY response. Someone might actually listen to my music in a place that is aimed at experimental music.pHz wrote:nah ... thats bollocks ... i was just reacting in the same 'logical conclusion' way as you have here (as well you know i hope) to andrews implied assertion that hed rather go somewhere where he KNOWS hes likely to get at least a constructive response ...whyterabbyt wrote:Better not do anything then, just in case there are negative consequences.pHz wrote:problem being youre then in danger of a mutual appreciation society ... which wont help anyone ... look what happened to tarnce once it got insular ...

Well, yeah its an 'if'. There are a few possible 'ifs'. Is it a likely one?pHz wrote:sean ... didnt say he shouldnt ... just making the point that if thats the direction ANY community goes then you have a potential problem
Why 'especially' ??(especially if the aim of the community in the first place is innovation and experimentation) ...
I could do with a bit less diversity of trolls, these days.... i think one of the reasons KVR itself keeps going IS the very diversity of opinion and ideology ...

How can 'experimental' be even considered a genre in the first place? And what we've provided isn't a section for the music itself, it's an area to DISCUSS what/if/how it's created.xoxos wrote:aah, so here we go.. the landslide into 'accepting' genre forums..
oh well..
You're arguing for the sake of arguing here.

I've heard both of you two's songs.
xoxos - I sort of take the "spectacular recuperation" line on what you're saying while
I try to muddle through what you're saying. I lack context for many of your idioms.
