Why bother worrying about internet on DAW's, or firewalls, or special browsers? Just freakin' disconnect the cable, and/or disable the NIC on the PC!

I'v had internet on my DAW for many years now with no problems. JUST TURN IT OFF!

Next best is migrating the software registration to the un-networked machine and register it locally and then send in the registration from a networked machine. This is what I did way back about 8 years ago when I first started using Samplitude. I was paranoid (for no reason) about having internet on my main DAW.

There was the day when the registration was on a separate FLOPPY disk and you could only mail in the registration.

I do you one better..... EVERY piece'a crap / vsti - daw, whatever, seem'z to wanna go

I just use those swap bays and a proggie called 'FAST defrag Pro' - and F-secure to
rid my system of all the "DAW -bullSHIT spyware-(z)!!!" .
worx beautifully for me, and the ONLY peca-shit I have a prov with, is those AssHolE'z
from LINE-6, with there internet 6 upgrade, and Monkey bullshit, (but Ive also found my
way around those idiots too!!)

Ya know, if ya'z buy your software, and you own it, and ya'z got a few drives, you try
to keep 'virgin' from this bullshit internet shit ...... why cant the developer'z of
the proggie'z, (especailly since alot of us are using there shit, in a studio situation)...
just be rid of the internet crap.

If I want a goddamned upgrade, I'll come here, and hear about, then decide, if I want it.
Instead of being FORCED to make a frikkin connection to the interent, every time I wanna
to a job in me studio.

This has ALWAYz pissed me off about software bonehead companies, and I just think it
wuz a nice place to post it, FINALLY, since I seen a chance to slide it in here.

Come on, I know some of U'z agree wit me on this. ( ??? ) yeah!!
