I have a working version of a preset update installer that we can use to fix any issues with the current presets....
If anyone else would like to report any issues, now would be the time....

Indeed. As was the case with the phaser, the delay went through a few different versions, with some changed parameters, so there may be a few other presets with the same loading issue. We have the first of our bimonthly preset updates scheduled for April release, so any problematic presets need to be reported to us by email by Friday the 4th, and we'll get the fixes in.dnekm wrote:I have a working version of a preset update installer that we can use to fix any issues with the current presets....![]()

I downloaded the new Prometheus installer, but I still have issues. Prometheus works but when I try to load Wusik 3.18 in Sonar 4.04 it won't load. I get this error message: "Vst Plug-in Error The Following VST plug-in failed to load:- C:\Wusikstation\Wusikstation.dll ... Cakewalk Missing Plugin Standin..." Therefore I cannot run both Prometheus and Wusik 3.18. Do I need to have Wusik 4 (instead of 3.18) even though I want to have Prometheus separate from it? I'm confused...Bassballjg wrote:We did get a fix. Log back in and re-download the instrument installer.higain_guitar wrote:Did William ever say what he will do with vsti like Prometheus. Right now they have the same id and therefore point to the default wusikstaiton directory. I just wonder what the future holds. Right now it is hard for me to have prometheus installed side by side with wusik as separate vstis....

I do not currently have a Wusik V3 install, but here is what I can do to try to help you....
I can do an install of Wusik V3.18 (I think I have the files around....) into Sonar 7 and then do a Prometheus install into Sonar 7 and let you know what happens....
Can you tell me - does Wusik V3.18 use the wIni files or does it still rely on registry settings?
If you want, email me directly with some more info about your setup and where things are installed.... Maybe I can try to duplicate your install structure and find why this is happening......

Wusik V3 uses the registry only to know where the DATA folder is located. Be sure that you have the new Prometheus version, that uses its own DATA folder, otherwise it could have installed its files over the V3 folder, which makes V3 crash, as it can't handle the V4 files.

It is in the Prometheus directory of the dangerousbear.com server. Since you got yours on disc, I don't think I issued you a login for that. I'll take care of that now.morelia wrote:Where is the new Prometheus installer available from?

I am just now reading about this, having been out all day. Let me check in with Daniel and William and your issue will be addressed asap. Sorry for any confusion or inconvenience. I certainly hope that you didn't accidentaly overwrite your Wusikstation DATA folder as William said.higain_guitar wrote:I downloaded the new Prometheus installer, but I still have issues. Our installer will not overwrite any Wusikstation files. Everything it installs goes into a Prometheus folder.....

Ok, here's where the wires got crossed. The new Instrument installer is to fix any remaining issues with having 2 WusikEngine DATA folders, but it does nothing about the presets that may not load effects because of different versions of the effect being used at the time the preset was saved. The preset fix for Lank-Bel, the preset you've had trouble with, is done but I hadn't uploaded it by the time you got the Instrument installer. Any other reported preset problems are scheduled to be fixed in the upcoming preset update.morelia wrote:I downloaded the new installer but I am getting the same error message. Anyway, people can now get the Lank-Bel fixed preset by logging into the Prometheus directory at dangerousbear.com. Just use the link and the info in your download email. And anybody who finds other presets with like peoblems, please report it, so we can get all the fixes out with the new presets.
