I agree with you on going the GB route. It offers a greater discount for customers, and because of that, a greater amount of sales - which in turn lowers the cost even more (possibly to extremely attractive prices) while still offsetting the discount for the developer.

I know I'm stating the obvious up there, but group buys/volume discounts just make good sense.

Andrew, sounds good. And a big thank you to Galbanum for being even open to the prospect of a gb especially this early in the life of the product! If nothing else, this discussion has at least brought this plug to more people's attention and it's nice to know that the current discount is still in effect for a couple months.

If this does happen we should all definitely make sure to spread the word as much as we can.

So is there some kind of online petition we could all sign to consolidate a volume discount group?

In the $100-150 price band already discussed, I'd be a player.

Almost 100.

Are we supposed to sign up for this somewhere or is our vote simply enough?

There is no GB yet, so no place to sign up. I think they are just testing the waters to see if there might perhaps be one.

We are just communicating with our existing customers and setting up the necessary steps. We hope to give details on Monday or so. Thanks.

Great! :D Just remember to give us a grace period to scare up the money. I think as word gets out, you'll do better than 100 sales, just by word of mouth on KVR and elsewhere...

Just to be clear... voting Yes in this poll, does NOT mean you are signed up for the group buy.

To sign up you must "order" the eligibility product from here:

Full details are here:

or

I just state this again, b/c the group buy sign up period ends this Sunday.
