I've made a small change to the threading code since there was a similar issue to this during beta testing. Let me know if it's fixed the issue for you. Anybody else, if this has broken it for you please also let me know! The new version is online now but may require a browser refresh (well, Chrome always seems to need it on my PC for some reason).griffin wrote:I can't get this to work cubase wont load when it comes to this plug?

Hello Matt ! , I've just downloaded the demo a couple of hours ago and I have found that Cubase Studio 4.5.2 freezes while trying to load it for the first time . I run Windows XP 32 SP3 , Core2quad 2.4 Q6600 , 4GB Ram . Installer version is 1.001 . I hope it helps ! .liquidsonics wrote:Can you provide more info please? Perhaps griffin try the previous version linked at the website too (v1.000 as opposed to 1.001) as I only posted an update yesterday, this may have caused an issue.

Thanks for the info - could you also try with 1.002 please which should now be visible online? I had a similar issue during testing but thought I'd nailed it, darn!standalone wrote:Hello Matt ! , I've just downloaded the demo a couple of hours ago and I have found that Cubase Studio 4.5.2 freezes while trying to load it for the first time . 1.002 loads fine ! ( I needed to delete the black list first ) . But I have to say that LE version 0.916 also freezed Cubase . I also tried the GPU version and this one loaded normally . It says that I need a new driver , though ( thanks for the info , I downloaded the last one at Christmas ) .

Excellent news, big thanks for testing that out for me. I'm not surprised to hear LE also has the issue - I'm onto it.standalone wrote:1.002 loads fine ! ( I needed to delete the black list first ) . I made a slight error in the 1.002 build (I didn't increment the internal build number reported to the host) so have upped to 1.003, this might help if some people are finding they need to manually rescan, but it's probably a total non-issue.

Tried it when i got home yesterday and cubase started up fine but no reverberation in plugin list. Im using cubase 4.1.3, i know there are newer versions but they were not stable for me my operaiting system is xp 5.1 (build.2600.xpsp.080413-2111 : Service Pack 3)I just got 1.003 to load up but cubase is acting like a little bitch and i can't get any sound from it at all or reaper for that matter as my asio drivers seem to be playing up so i guess you can ignore my post now. Now i have to sort my drivers out as i really want to test this plug out, it looks great.liquidsonics wrote:Can you provide more info please? hi matt, i bought reverberate yesterday and just wanted to say thank you. i was looking for a long time for a convolution reverb, as this is the only audio effect which i feel is still missing in live 8. reverberate works perfectly in live 8.01 under windows vista with a low cpu consumption (around 5-6 % on my quadcore). so, thanks again and keep up the good work. highly recommended!!

After a bit more thought, the issue for me is that if Reverberate is in a project, the parameters loaded etc, the correct IR is found, but the left / right buttons do nothing....liquidsonics wrote:Sounds reasonable, lets get into the detail of how this might work. How would you want to differentiate between the option of the open button picking between the home location and the current working directory? Having 2 eject buttons might be confusing working within the established icon space constraints. Having eject open the current IR directory is handy, especially if you're working along way from the 'home' directory and just want to go up or down a directory from the current.John-E34 wrote:Any chance of being able to set the default path to the IR's....
The windows 'file open' dialog opens to the last directory used, and if I have loaded a patch into another plugin, I have to navigate back to my IR directory.
Would be a real time saver
I propose having a house icon between the eject and > icons. Clicking this brings up a menu with 'Set home IR folder' and 'Open from home folder'. Open file in home dir then brings up the standard file selector but setting the start location as whatever the home is set as.
The path to the IR loaded is not the same path that windows 'file open' dialog is actually using.
My suggestion would be that the 'file open' dialog be forced to open to the directory of the IR currently loaded, rather than the last path used. Although your 'second button' solution would work too.
I have gone to change the IR many times, but the next / previous buttons find nothing, because the 'open file' selector is pointing to another directory... on another drive
I hope this is a bit clearer

Thanks for the ideas John-E34. I've posted an update to 1.004 that I hope will meet with your needs, it's a fairly flexible pull-down menu system that modifys the behaviour of the eject button. From the changelog:
I've had a report via email of an issue with the GUI not loading until Sonar 8.03. I don't have this version, but I have used the web trial v8.02 and it seems ok on XP and Vista x32 my end so I am unable to replicate the issue - is anybody else having an issue with Sonar 8?
It also has an option to push IRs from 1 into 2, and 2 into 1 which may make it quicker to do modulated variations on a single IR configuration (this has been on my suggestions list for a while so I'm pleased to add it in).Added a user selection pull-down menu to set the default IR file dialog location to either the most recently used, the current IR directory (this is context sensitive so the eject buttons respond to the location of the IR loaded depending which button IR1/2 is used) or an option to always load from a preset directory that can be specified by the user (defaults to c:\ until changed).
