what's weird to me is rap that postures like it's so macho but it has this totally dinky beat which sounds like it was made on the cheapest Casio or worse, this tiny no-balls drum synth but this overamped ridiculous bass and 'mah bitches' and all this crap

what is the criteria were using for "weird"? i mean if it has to have notes and stuff.
i mean the residents are pretty weird. but not really right? just the delivery is weird.
diamanda galas is pretty weird man....but is she really?
facehead is some of the craziest weirdest stuff ive ever heard.....but still...its withing the realm of an easily identifiable genre.

what about neubauten? i mean not so much now...but those guys were weird as shit back in the day.
all of those are pretty weird. but i mean....not really, without knowing what the critera for "weird" is.
you know i think is weird? f'ing beijing opera. what the hell is going on? its damn near unlistenable makes me want to stick knitting needles in my ears.....and i listen to power noise and dark ambient drone music, and all the weird stuff i posted. this sh1t is out of control:
