So... explain why this isn't for homosexuals again. It's not any more clear to me now than the original "for manly men and the woman who love them" comment. I do know a gay man who doesn't like the look of a woman's mammary glands, but I also know many that seem to love them anyway.

Thanks... not that big of a deal though I remember once I found out what the effect was on Lazy Eye I spent an hour or so looking if there was a vst that emulated it. Didn't find it so when I saw this I though it might be fun to try. Oh well... for anyone wants to know what the effect is check out 1:20 and 2:00 here -Kontrast13 wrote: [Edit]: No hold on the DD-3. Maybe you can kick up some dust and they'll add it for v3.8.1
probably some other glitch effect out there to do it anyway...

Jeez, zerocrossing you're reading a lot into it! The "manly man" I was referring to was Slash. And he does indeed like women... on his cabs. No one said anything about sexual orientation!

Can you please elucidate? I am not sure I understand this myself.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Really wish credits were sold in increments of 5 but I see why they're not.

Well, I'm not allowed to say what I think of it, but again after seeing the "slash" lineup (the band) it makes me wonder.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:Jeez, zerocrossing you're reading a lot into it! I'm not especially a fan of Slash (and I can't stand Guns N' Roses) but I kinda like the new models.
Noting parenthetically (though seriously) each time I am in the Custom Shop I am reminded how much I detest the whole credits system. It just feels like obfuscation.

Wasn't that a Tubes song? 1983 or so?MickGael wrote:It just feels like obfuscation.
I agree on the credits thing... the last time I got excited about that sorta thing I was 10 years old standing in line at Chuckie Cheese's waiting to cash in a pile of tickets that I had won playing video games for a couple of fake tattoos and a handful of tootsie rolls.
I guess if you want to be the iTunes of software amp gear, and you can't exactly ask people to keep their credit cards on file at IK for instant impulse buys, you gotta do something..

How could you not?MickGael wrote:I'm not especially a fan of Slash (and I can't stand Guns N' Roses) but I kinda like the new models.
The Marshall JCM Slash is a reissue of the Silver Jubilee, which is regarded by many as the finest amplifier Marshall has ever made. And the Slash cabs are Slash-branded 1960AV & BV cabs, which contain 70-watt Vintage 30s specially voiced for Marshall by Celestion. Also considered by many to be the creme of the crop.
And the pedals... well who doesn't like MXR?
Even if you aren't a fan of Slash's music, you have to give him credit for his discriminating taste in gear. The man certainly knows tone!
And hell, these are officially certified Marshall amps! What more really needs to be said?

That's ridiculous. Of course Slash is real. My friends hired him to play my 31st birthday party. It was awesome. The odd thing about it is that this was at the exact same time as he was playing the G&R induction ceremony at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was being broadcast live. I never figured out how he managed to be at both places at the same time.hibidy wrote:slash isn't real
Then someone told me they saw him playing at the mall that night around the same time too...weird.

I only said it was a Marshall amp and that's what it is. I chose that particular pic because it clearly illustrated typical Marshall styling.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:FrantzM, sorry, no.
It is not a Marshall Haze series portable cab.
