Right now you can pan mics hard left and hard right, and then send each side to its own group channel in your DAW. It's something I used to do fairly regularly, myself.

Lol those poor cameras! Has anyone been mixing and matching the new Slash gear models with our other gear models in interesting ways? I've been mixing the cabs with TONS of amps and getting new tones I love! The Soldano and Anger sound killer!

That's how I use my real Tiny Terror. I have mainly boosters in front of it - a mid, treble, and clean boost. I used to have an old original LPB1 but it was more than a tad noisy and I didn't feel like dealing with it any more.ObiK wrote:That does sound awesome, I'll have to try that! And on the Vai thing - that was just a picture. We do those random types of things all the time there, there are likely other artists that would happen way before any possibility of Mr Vai.

Who cares about Vai when you can have this guys rig!
That boost pedal is pretty useful... there's just something magical about how it works compared to using an EQ pedal between two effects to make them behave when normal adjustments won't do it. Boosting the Terror does get some good results.

general guitar gadgets has a cool Treble Boost kit it can be built as a Brian May version or a Range Master. I built mine as a Brian May but I'll probably build another as a Range master. If you order the kit without the enclose you can save 10 dollars (I didn't know about this when I got mine) and this site sells enclosures of all types, pre-drilled and painted with plenty of colors to choose from for not a whole more than you save off of not getting the kit with an enclosure. I also run the TS clone I built with the clippers lifted for just a sweet boost (diode 1 which I actually added a second diode for the asymmetrical mod so when the clipper is not lifted). Both sound nice in front of any of my amps and in front of sims as well.
