Any workers revolting en mass to work for a different company? Prolly not. Programmers are usually 5 year contract types. When your time is up the company is under no obligation to keep you and you are under no obligation to stay.

A lot of time after the initial hard lifting is done there is no need to keep programmers on the payroll twittling thier thumbs. My brother in law was a contract programmer from the mid 70's thru 2006. He never worked for a single company for more then 5 years and always had another job lined up bu the time his contract expired. These days the competition is thick and opportunities diminishing for serious programmers.

I just got back from my time machine I went to the future and looked on Abletons website it said.

Live 9 coming soon 128bit and quantum computer support. £8000 + 80% VAT If in UK.
