I'm sure you are right about that.
Just read that triumph1 got it now.

That shows how serious they are.

I've been in contact once with Arturia through mail - and they answered everything I wanted to know in very detail.

Good people one likes to support.

So I felt no hesitation ordering stuff today.
:)
+1

Great company. I got in on the free giveaway of the Minimoog V Original, loved the synth and bought Arturia's Analog Experience The Laboratory (49 key version) today. It was actually the hardware that sold me. The keyboard is outstanding and I got 3 of their synths for free with it. Can't believe it. Now I have the Minimoog V Original, Moog Modular V, Jupiter-8V, and the Prophet V. A stunning collection of synths for FREE, and one heck of a midi keyboard.

Arturia, you rock!

* edit - The Analog Experience also comes with 3500 presets mixing the various Arturia synths. Quite a stunning collection.

I ordered The Factory myself last Thur... UPS will have it here tomorrow. $220 at audiodeluxe, plus 2 arturia freebies if registered before 6/30. I figure the 2 plugs alone will be worth $220. With the MiniMoogV freebie I'll have to figure out which other 2 I should opt for... I read good reviews of the hardware, and I've been kinda jonesin' for the 32 keys after I got a good deal on an Akai MPK-25 a few weeks ago ($199 new at GC)... the Akai is decent, plus it has the knobs and pads and a decent iface, IMO, but for any sorta "'laptop' piano playing" the 2 octaves is... well, it's 2 octaves. And by "laptop", I really mean futzing around with it literally on my lap, and have it be small enough to put up on the desk next to the real laptop for a minute when needed. I figured I could also have the Akai for bass on the left, and the Arturia for chords on my right. :) I also have a Emu XBoard 49 (another nice feeling board, BTW, but sadly no longer available), but at that size I really need it to be on a stand... I think the arturia keyboard will be just what the doctor ordered... plus I'm one step closer to owning every form factor midi controller available... just need to find a 76-key weighted, like those old school Korgs, and I'm golden... 25, 32, 49, 61, 76, 88... have I missed any?

Hahaha. Sounds like you have a room or two full. I have a feeling you are really going to love the Analog Factory Experience.

I have to tell you, had I realized how good the Arturia stuff was I would have bought it a while ago. The integration between the Analog Laboratory and the Analog Experience keyboard is simply fantastic and the sounds are off the hook.

I'd say it's crazy more people don't know about this, but then looking over their press clippings and awards it sounds like everybody does know.

For the price and quality I couldn't pass it up. I'm a sucka that way. But I really had been held back by the whole dongle thing, though I realize it's an option for arturia... I think I'm finally warming up to USB 2.0. Also, I'm taking the plunge on Cubase 6.5 while I'm at it... see what all the hubbub is all about, not to mention my recent leanings toward the mac... so I'll have the steinberg dongle anyway... Geez, my world is turning upside down... Macs, dongles, steinberg... oh my!

I used the eLicenser, so didn't need iLok or USB.

I got it eventually and I really like it, it's a step up from the excellent minimogue that I normally use.

Standard of Arturia stuff seems relatively high, i'd love all their emu's but I just couldn't afford them all.

This occurred to me too and when you think about it, it makes sense.

MOOG: "You can't use our name on your products after the 21st June. Contract over."

ARTURIA: "Sure, no problemo. Then you won't mind if we give away a few to commemorate our partnership."

MOOG: "I guess that's okay... But just for one day."

ARTURIA: "OK then... One day it is. Cheers!"

MOOG: "Cheers guys, and good luck to you."

ARTURIA: "Good luck to you too... Nice doing business with you."

Followed by some smiles and handshakes.

Except that's not what happened, as Arturia have continued to give it to Facebook users after the 21st of June.

i still haven't managed to get it, neither the direct download nor the torrent file. every time i pass by my pc, i 'resume'....but nothing happening. oh well.
i'd rather have a mullet than a comb-over.
fortunately, i have neither.

I didn't bother getting this, because I guarantee it would have gone in my pile of synths I never use. The more plugins I've bought, the less I use each of them.

Post

I didn't get it, because I was afraid my facebook email registration would be hacked the next day. I was wrong, it took more than one day :hihi:

how to fix it:

My idea for these freebies is Prophet V and Jupiter 8V. which are to me best softsynths what arturia makes. sem v have problem presets i dont found any usefull. and i use presets some kind things.(pads mainly).

is it the registration or the plugin that was open for the day? Just torrented... can I still register?

That's where I was leaning as well.. heard and read good things about the 8V… and the Prophet with the dual synth modes and modulation options makes it a no brainer for me… :)

Had a chance to play around with the hardware earlier… keys are a little on the light side.. maybe just a step above the m-audio axiom and the like, which I'm not a big fan of... but not as beefy as the XBoard, Akai, Edirol, Alesis QS6.1, etc. All in all, still a good deal for $220, IMO...
