What email? Is there a new crossgrade price for PS/Aether+Breeze owners? If so, I didn't get an email.MFXxx wrote:billcarroll wrote:

Thank you for the information about license transfer and copy protection. The question above remains. It may not seem important, but I've probably been cumulatively burned more from this issue than the other two. I guess I should also ask if you foresee the possibility of a group buy, and if so, within what timeframe? Thanks!antithesist wrote:I'll be a first time 2C buyer too, when and if I buy, that is.
I know you probably can't say for certain, but is it safe to say B2 won't be cheaper than this intro offer for the next year, for example if there are holiday or other sales?

First test using a harp recording from one of my compositions sent through B2 - 100% wet - custom preset (which is now lost as I only have the demo):

Yes, this is no unit that wishes to be constrained to real space. At times it really craves to drown the source. Listening to Breeze and B2 on infinite time is a very relaxing activity. I love being able to flip the Stereo channels and M/S..then mixing the two. Also great with being able to move Dynamics and Attitude around in the internal chain. Keep the demos coming folksSampleconstruct wrote:First test using a harp recording from one of my compositions sent through B2 - 100% wet - custom preset (which is now lost as I only have the demo):...

If there will be a discount for Aether+Breeze customers, I hope you send out another mail
Furthermore, I hope you're releasing a small update for Breeze/Aether, where you implement some more EQ options (e.g. softer shelfes etc).
However, great plugin!

And what's really good about the dual engine is, that one can determine the amount of "cascadeness" and balance the 2 engines with the Balance slider as well. The Output Limiter is very helpful, especially with higher attitude settings, things can build up fast. Then there is the grainy side of B2 with huge room sizes and no diffusion, in Nano mode and with high mod settings plus distortion this gets crazy, but it's always controllable (well mostly...).snigelx wrote:Yes, this is no unit that wishes to be constrained to real space. Been spending a lot of time together with B2 and Aether tonight. These two are not even in the same hemisphere. I've also gone back and reread some of the fantastic Aether manual, it's been some time ago since the last time I jumped into that one, esp the 'deeper' end of it. Aether is a powerful beast and it really runs right beside B2 in quality, all the while I am nearly positive that lusher results can be achieved with Aether AAMOF with some source. I was actually surprised to learn this tonight while experimenting. However, B2 is beast at tossing frequencies around in 4-ch audio space, as well as offering a few tricks which aren't really necessary at all for [typical] application of reverb. As someone else put it earlier, it is a fantastic sound design tool. But it definitely has its uses as any standard reverb unit. Just not sure if it can give you the smoothness of Aether. Difficult to explain what I mean by that, but one thing is Aether offers a 1sec predelay and advanced EQ which can be set to the input OR on the output of the unit. It also has a nice envelope control featuring Attack, Spread (NOT stereo spread mind you) and Sustain params. It has a unique optional parameter-linking system for when Space Types or EQ filtering is altered via preset. The cascade of the Space type is QUITE different than Cascade slider in B2 as well. At any rate, if you are a sound design freak then having both is not at all a bad idea. Please no more BS about Aether getting an upgrade as B2. And a simple sit-down session with B2 and little Breeze will show you quite quickly that they are simply cousins. Pull all 3 up on the same source signal and A/B them, if you remain in doubt.
TBH Breeze comes really LAST in the pack for me (Will use it when I need an Eco insert). It absolutely has some tricks up its sleeve compared to Aether, however it is designed to be conscious of CPU (Even though you can definitely make it hungry) There is no option for over-sampling and better interpolation as you find in the other two units but still sounds great in most cases. I definitely hear that it sounds less intriguing in some scenarios compared to B2.

taking a break today guys... went to the pool, swam some laps. tried to beat Phelph's times, and failed miserably... guess that is to be expected.
Man what an accomplishment!! Amazing!
back to computer land tomorrow. (or maybe even some tonight, if I can't help myself...)

Yes, sure we think of lots of things. Which one gets developed and "perfection-ized" is another matter... Maybe...snigelx wrote:I wonder, have you two considered conceiving a monster delay unit? B2 is filling quite nicely the role as a multi-tap as we speak
