I think this is 64bit

I'll check that out. Thanks. But I worry that I'm dragging the discussion off in another direction. I'm looking forward to the ImageLine host. One thing that I like is that it lets the player drag all of the instruments and effects around outside of its own interface, which means that they can be dragged onto separate monitors.

but its not a plugin, is it?
An idiot on Set Theory:

Silly question:
Can i use my hardware synths ? .
I have 3 korg volca and xoxbox, this environment is fantastic for me ; but :

I just tested and I do not quite understand the routing .
I knew he had to use the piano roll but how to assign effects ?
I have to gain at least if I have a reverb ???

thanks Imageline ; This product is great !

What? Again?!

This is what really pisses me off with the developer. Claims to create excellent tools, but ultimately abandons them. RECORDER was flexible, didn't even try it yet with jBridge or something. But it did it's job (even though it was CPU taxing on my end).

Same with r8brain and Impulse Modeler.

Maybe I'll get in touch with MeldaProduction - he's a top bloke and maybe he's up to the task to create a simple, transparent x64 ready WAV recorder for low funds. Else, EDISON it is indeed. (though I didn't see a recording limit with this tool - and 99USD is indeed a bit steep, but then again, it's more than just a "recorder").
No Mac version either. The best bet is the BlueCat people are working on a recorder plugin, but really recording audio should be built in to this Minihost.

For live jamming it would be great if the MIDI could be recorded...

EDIT: I just found out that MIDI can be recorded...

Did you read the manual?

It should be quite easy to assign hardware to the MIDI inputs...

No joke, when this is out of beta, FL will be perfect.

Running the 32bit VST I can not save or open a Graph if a plugins UI is visible. If I close all UI's everything is fine.

...even Patcher REEEEALLY needs to be able to split output. Not really fully modular otherwise.

Post

L&R split connections isn't about panning. It's about processing each channel differently. If i want to process the left output of a synth through one chain, and then right output through a different chain, then i need split LR outputs and inputs. i played with this happily in Tracktion's Rack system, Console, and eXT 1 (but when eXT2 dropped it, i lost interest in eXT). Console is dead and Windows only. So, i'd like to see it here, too.

Oh, and the website is down right now? i can't get to the download. Interested in Mac version (which is why MUX is useless to me).

I must admit that I do not understand why one would want to use this modular unit in a host. In other words, how do people plan to use it? The standalone version makes perfect sense to me--you can play a vsti with effects quickly, without having to open a full host\sequencer such as Cubase, saving some time and having a simple interface. But since a host already lets you assign an instrument to a single track and attach effects to just that track, what are the advantages of using a modular unit such as this in the host as a vsti? Assigning more than one vsti to a track? But then, the instruments are playing the same notes, so that doesn't seem helpful.

Layering multiple instruments. Using a step sequence/arpeggiator without having to use two tracks. More complex effect layering/setups. etc.

sounds like tracks in Reaper?
