Curious to know how people are routing multiple tracks to Morph in their respective DAWs.
I'm running up against annoying limitations and having to find work-arounds when not using Max.

There's an elaborate section on that in the manual, most likely you'll find the info you're looking for there!
If not, what DAW are you using?

meh. people who say this casts a shadow on kyma, please PM me so I can possibly buy some of whatever it is you're smoking : )
i find myself having to audition way too much material to find anything that sounds good...way too much. and too often the 'morphing' simply sounds like crossfading (and yes, I understand the a-b / b-a ..vertical / horizontal paradigm). for now the best I can get from it is simply finding static 'sweet spots'..but at that rate, not using the so-called 'morphing' aspect, I am wondering what this really has over a vocoder or convolver. I felt this way about the original too. Which is why I overlooked this thread for a while, thinking it was Prosoniq - then doing a doubletake and seeing it was Zynaptiq - and then doing a triple take and realising it was Prosoniq after all, hehe.
just as well there's a 30 day demo, it's gonna take 30 days to convince me to buy this ; )
and I gess their ISP is still acting up because emails go unanswered for days now.

What sort of sounds are you trying with? This is a rather untypical experience with MORPH, maybe you're using some very particular sounds, or have particular expectations what a morph "should" sound like? Maybe you're looking for obvious/synthetic sounding transitions?
At any rate, do you actually *have* a Kyma system to make any statements regarding comparisons? I have two. If you can reliably get better results with Kyma with similar amounts of effort as with MORPH, please elaborate how you do so. I'm listening very interestedly
As to your emails...I'm seeing no un-replied to support requests here. Maybe check your SPAM filters. What *is* your email address (so I can forward using a private email address to circumvent any filters your ISP may be applying to ours...).
Kind regards,
Denis

ambient sounds mostly - stuff you'd imagine shouldn't be too challenging to morph with the other, also percussive elements (with identical timing to make it 'easier' for the morph algo). like I said - lots of auditioning, too much imo, to find results that sound simply OK - and I mean OK in terms of static 'sweet spot' settings. morphing quality is still meh. I feel the same way about the examples other users have posted. making this a tool of very limited uses imo. to me at least. but ya, if I want to do a boogie man voice it could come in handy but then I've got other tools and techniques for doing that anyway.zynaptiq wrote:What sort of sounds are you trying with? Interesting you should only ask that of someone who is *skeptical* about the comparison, where as you're happy to accept praise without any scrutiny of the posters kyma experience whatsoever (referring here to the 'cast shadow' comment in particular ; )zynaptiq wrote: At any rate, do you actually *have* a Kyma system to make any statements regarding comparisons?
interesting stipulation here : ) ... very interesting! ... similar amounts of effort, in other words no effort beyond loading a vst and fiddling with an XY pad ; ) 'you reap what you sow' ...as the old adage goes! I woudn't expect much of kyma with similar amounts of effort. I wouldn't expect much of csound, supercollider, maxmsp etc etc either - with similar amounts of effort.zynaptiq wrote:If you can reliably get better results with Kyma with similar amounts of effort as with MORPH, please elaborate how you do so. Ya. I checked my spam folder/filters of course. Maybe you should check yours : ) I used the contact form on your website by the way. if there's a better way to contact you (i.e simply provide an email address to email you directly), please let me know! cheers.zynaptiq wrote: As to your emails...I'm seeing no un-replied to support requests here. by the way, you really should have implemented some LFOs into this... so at least the sweet spots can benefit from some animation. the ability to use midi for the same purposes notwithstanding.

As an FYI in Studio One 2.6 I can't get the VST to work but the AU does.zynaptiq wrote:There's an elaborate section on that in the manual, most likely you'll find the info you're looking for there!

In Bitwig the Vst doesn't work but the AU hosted in BluCat Patchwork does.
In Studio one I have tracks panned and sent to a Bus with Morph. In Bitwig I have tracks panned and sent to an audio track with Morph.
Is the current price an intro, if so for how long. love this thing.

So, no you have never used a Kyma system.Daags wrote:Interesting you should only ask that of someone who is *skeptical* about the comparison, where as you're happy to accept praise without any scrutiny of the posters kyma experience whatsoever (referring here to the 'cast shadow' comment in particular ; )zynaptiq wrote: At any rate, do you actually *have* a Kyma system to make any statements regarding comparisons?

trolling...because I have reservations about the plugin ? OK pal.
if you can post some examples 'proving' me 'wrong' ... i'd love to hear them. or if you don't agree it takes lots of auditioning to find stuff that works together, again, please say so - if it's the truth. i'd love to believe this too.

Ouch, that's strange. Will try to repro.woodsdenis wrote: As an FYI in Studio One 2.6 I can't get the VST to work but the AU does.

The pricing is not an intro, no. The only thing that's time limited is that oooold versions like Windows VST and RTAS (which were discontinued many years ago by prosoniq) get the same update price as more recent versions. Though even for that, we have no specific cutoff date in mind.

LFOs as well as an envelope follower would be really cool, yes. These are definitely on my "want" list for the futureDaags wrote:by the way, you really should have implemented some LFOs into this... the ability to use midi for the same purposes notwithstanding.

Some people just don't seem to realise that they raise hackles through their arrogant and abrasive manner. Not a very successful strategy for constructive dialogue. And you're not my 'pal'.
