Hi everybody!
Long time without taking part in the OSC, I really missed it
.
Crisalys was a interesting synth to work with, but has had some things that I haven't liked so much, for example the FM on the oscillators, in contrast with the XM which was very cool, but anyway interesting synth.
Here is my entry :
https://soundcloud.com/jruegg/jruegg-just-a-dream
MP3 download here (If you don't want to download the huge WAV).
All patches where made from scratch.
Tracked in Renoise 3
45 Instances of Crisalys
Renoise FXs:
3 x Gate
7 x EQ 5
3 x Bus Compressor
1 x Exciter
1 x Reverb
1 x mpReverb
1 x Multitap Delay
5 x Gainer
External VST FXs:
4 x Melda free limiter
1 x TDR Kotelnikov
1 x TDR Vos SlickEQ
1 x GVST Multiband Compressor
1 x Ambience
2 x Taldub 3
Enjoy! and thanks for listening.

My entry for KVR One Synth Challenge #84: Crisalys
I wasn't sure I'd manage a track this month, having spent the first half of the month finishing off a track for a Blend contest. Once I started playing with Crisalys, however, I was hooked. Many awesome and lovely sounds come out of it easily. It's professional synth heritage shows clearly, in it's polished UI, great sound, useful manual, and general solidness.
Made in Studio One 2.6.4 x86 (I think I'm done with Reaper as a main production DAW)
16 Crisalys instances
DAW FX:
ProEQ x12
Compressor x4
Analog Delay x3
Beat Delay x1
Limiter x3
Spectrum Meter x1
Ampire x1
Room Reverb x1
Tricomp x1
Free FX:
A1StereoControl-x32 x1
DC1A2 x1
Freeverb3 Hibiki x1
TAL Tube x4
Tonecarver Delay8_32 x1
Density MkIII x2
ThrillseekerLA x2
Voxengo Stereo Touch x3
Limiter No6 x1
MJUC Jr x1
Nova 67p x1
Roughrider x1
Saturation Knob x2
DR8 (turn it up; bring the noise)

Voted.
For those looking for more voting transparency, I voted a tad different this time. For such a relatively small field, I wanted to keep to at most five 5s. A few were shoe-in's, but the last couple spots had some competition, so I declared all the borderline 5s to be 4s and moved what I'd had as 4 down to 3 and 3 down to 2. Thus:
5 are flawless musically and timbrally interesting tracks with pro-sounding mixes.
4 are excellent tracks that just weren't obvious 5s, for various minor reasons.
3 are great tracks that had minor flaws in mix or sound design, or just didn't do it for me stylistically. (Sorry, I can't avoid subjectivity completely)
2 are also decent tracks, but would need more work in multiple respects to be competitive (e.g flat, almost MOD-quality mixes, excessively discordant, or just not as involved).
1 is of course just my track.
FWIW.
If I have time, I'll revisit using the downloads, but I wanted to get a first full pass while I had a chance.
