Soundcloud hired a new Chief Revenue Officer, Alison Moore. This is news as of March 7th, 2016.

She will oversee the new consumer subscription products, marketing and sales strategies.

They are gearing up their paid streaming service (along the lines of Spotify and the many others).

Needless to say, Soundcloud is not going be forced to close.
