Unfortunately I still don't feel competent enough even though I would love to help out...

Not yet bought it, but it is on my want list, because (like CM sums up) it is "more of a sound-design and special FX-verb" than a regular echo/verb

Yes and no. I'll try to speak as a Polaris user more than the developer this time. It's quite a bit different than "regular" reverbs, since the core effect is based on exploiting a single delay line (like in the old Ursa Major SST-282), so you won't get the smooth build up you may get with other algorithms. It's a bit tricky to set on drums and percussive tracks, but I'm having a great time with it on vocals, guitars and synths. I'm currently working on a bespoke project for a client (horror stuff) and Polaris is doing a great job, along with my 2C Audio collection. I know that my opinion might be biased, but it deserved a place in my templates and that's a bit of a personal satisfaction since I'm very picky with plugins
My 2 cents!

Just as well that people set aside their dozen extremely hi-Q and top-brand other delay, reverb plugins or even hardware units and take some time to discover what Polaris is all about.Audiority wrote:Thank you very much guysIf you can also leave a review here on KVR, it would be greatly appreciated!

Polaris immediately blasted me back to the distant past, when my dad was in the recording studio section of the house, and I was a really little kid listening to all the strange echoes and washes spilling out of his guitars and whatever else he had all plugged in together. It was like stepping out onto an alien planet. That's exactly the times and sounds Polaris reminds me of.

Here's Computer Music Magazine review of Polaris. Unfortunately the included video only show Polaris on a drum track (which is not his strongest point!). Enjoy!

Just bought. What an amazing 'effect', I demoed first as I already have Valhalla shimmer and Blackhole (OK, I like Shimmer!), but this is different enough (and sounds great) to buy at the very fair price.
It works amazingly well with 'Legend' VST, I am particular in love with the Boston Hall pre-set....

Very cool plug. One of the best delay-based effects I've used in some time. My review...

Just had a look cause I wanted to see which payment methods you offer and was wondering I am ending up with 45 € ???????
Even if VAT is not included in the reduced prize of 35 € the start BEFORE VAT could not be 37,85 € like in my case, maybe you have not changed in the payment or do I need a coupon code ?
Otherwise it looks interesting and with more presets and if it is a real sale prize....
EDIT: you must have forgotten to change payment, I tried with grain space, there it is 35 € including VAT, so it should be the same in the end for Polaris
