OK, this is totally weird. I installed the time-limit demo PKB3, no Sustain Pedal.

Then I installed the newest PKB II 2.52, also no Sustain Pedal!

Then I went back to PKB II 2.50, aaand ... Sustain Pedal works! :?:

This is in VSTHost 1.52 on Windows 7-32

Seems like I'm cursed or something, everything after PKB II 2.50 has no Sustain Pedal! :?: :?:

This totally weirding me out! :scared: :help:
Working for me in PKB 2.52 full version on Mac

As I said in my post:

VSTHost 1.52 on Windows 7-32 bit, and I have the eLicenser version.

Found it;

The phaser is swapping the Delay's left and right channels. When both enabled.

The delay unit (left and Right) outputs the left and right output reversed. Left is right, and right is left. <--- i think this was on a particular patch/instance.... :?: I loaded a new instance and left was left and right was right on the same patch...weird.

When changing the ADSR on filter2 (ADSR2 CTRL), it is actually ADSR3 that is hardwired to filter2. So the name is incorrect beneath filter 2:

I really like the added features but I have a gripe that has carried over from v2 also. Why do the knobs cover the waveform symbols? I get the perspective angle but why couldn't you guys just put the symbols higher so the knob doesn't cover them up? I want to simply dial in two saw waves and I have to screw around looking at wave percentages? That doesn't make much sense and it impedes workflow. How hard would it be to move them slightly outward as to not be covered by the knob?

:help:

Oh crap! I cried 'Wolf' much too soon!

Everything posted before is now void, because when I tried PKB3 in my other DAW's (Mulab, Reaper, Tracktion) everything works flawless!

I'm not really a big DAW user. For some reason VSTHost is my go-to app when playing synths and tinkering with sounds.

Now it turns out the fault lies with VSTHost 1.52.

Wasted half the afternoon with all the (re-)installing. :(

Well only one thing to do now. Upgradamundo! :)

Merry X-Mas everybody!

Yes, that was disappointing to me too. but unless you put higher priority to usability, devs will often do things like this and say "oh well use your ears" or "it doesn't matter". whatever. I've given up trying to get good usability into GUIs. If the company doesn't care they don't care and will make all kinds of excuses for their anti-usability decisions. Best to just focus on the positive aspects of the products instead of banging your head against the wall with devs.

Btw : We hope everyone is happy with the pricing of the Upgrade. I used to refer at it as 'fair and very affordable' when it was discussed in toher threads before it was announced. I hope nobody will have been disapointed.

seriously, i can't believe that they've never done anything about this. just make the knob itself a little smaller, that's all that needs to be done. same graphic, just smaller. the things are f'ing HUGE as it is, nobody is going to care that they're not scaled exactly as they are on the original Poly Kobol. love the look of those knobs in general though.

This was pretty fair!
Thanks to Xils-Lab for that.

Any other Dev would have charged double the amount......at least.

Im sure theyll fix this by moving the symbols slightly further away. A simple fix and it wont spoil the aesthetics or visual balance in anyway
