Much better. I can do that.

Does the upgrade to Halion 6 include the license for Halionsonic 3?

It always has before
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I know, I have them both, just wanted to verify that is still the case as the above didn't say and upgrade to HS6 and HS3 have the same price.

you can go from hs2 to h6 even for $99, if you now update to h5 (grace period).

I just realized this earlier tonight. $99 to go from HS2 to Halion 6 via Halion 5 seems like a pretty great deal. I'm thinking I will be pulling the trigger on this.

Are you sure that you can upgrade from HS2 to H6 for 99 euro during the grace period?
More than one user asked this same question in the Steinberg forum but the answer is far from clear...

There is even a side-grade for Falcon or Kontact users...

This makes it seriously more interesting, not only financially, but also because not urgent. I can wait untill a few serious reviews are available.
I have SE in Cubase, but that cannot be compared...

Currently you can upgrade from HS2 to Halion 5 for $99 on the Steinberg website. I have seen on multiple press releases from NAMM that anyone who activates Halion 5 (or HS2 or Absolute 2) after December 29th get a free grace period upgrade to Halion 6, HS3 or Absolute 3 as appropriate. Seems like there shouldn't be a problem. I've been lucky enough to hit Steinberg's grace periods on a few products and it frequently works like this.

Where do you see this? I can't find any info about cross-grades from Kontakt to Halion.

Edit: Nevermind. Foud it at the pricing link above. It's the "Competitive Crossgrade" and applies not only for Kontakt/Komplete owners and Falcon owners, but also Omnisphere owners! 250 for the crossgrade. Yeah for that price and this feature set, I think I might have to dive in.

Wait, what's this? If I own Omnisphere I can get HALion 6 for $250?
