Indeed, that would be the even better option. Hope that Waldorf take notes (they don't do anywayENV1 wrote:If you want the same set of application data to be accessible by all users of the PC then you would traditionally put it in C:\ProgramData. That way you dont have to make a duplicate copy of the data for every user working on the machine, plus you also ensure that every user is working with the same set.chk071 wrote:The solution is to manually copy said folder into the user's AppData/Roaming folder
They just have to copy the files for all users, not just the installing user (which is always the admin user).
Note: On XP and earlier this directory actually used to be in a location named 'All Users', namely
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

Give them time? Is this the '90's ?ew wrote: Musikmesse was last week- give them time. They're more than likely pretty far behind as that tends to be an all hands on deck affair.

Dude this is online and should be automated like every company I've bought from has it.
I was undecided between Largo and Serum but now I've had it and am demanding a refund and will buy Serum instead.

I also thought the process was automated. Seems weird. Did you check your mail providers spam folder, and all that?shroom81 wrote:Give them time? Waldorf is not a one man company and they normally work at an office. Well currently is Easter so some days (including Monday) nobody will work at the office.shroom81 wrote:Give them time? Last week was Musikmesse where almost everybody at Waldorf was quite busy with that and the main person at support was also ill for some days...
I understand you want a fast reply but sometimes there are reasons for a delay...
Besides that i do not think that Serum is even remotely a proper replacement for Largo. Just because Serum is a wavetable synth does not mean it could also replace all other wavetable synths in terms of sound and features.

I'm just baffled at their sales support there's not even an automated email saying the office is closed between these dates or you're order has been received, just nothing.
I just don't understand how hard it can be for a company to provide customers with information in this day and age, shame really as they make lovely synths.
And yes I always check my spam folder when I check my email, it's in my routine
I really want the Waldorf sound back as I used to have a Microwave XT and I loved it, was my most used hardware synth together with my Juno.
I'm thinking Serum interface is nicer to work with and not as a replacement for the Waldorf sound, I have sent them a message via paypal and will see what they say.
Guess it's easy to pick up Serum later with that offer of paying 9$ a month until you own it.

Update on this;
Apparently humans aren't the only ones capable of making mistakes.
According to Waldorf the email and serial were straight away as the payment arrived but due to some error I never received them and no one was at the office to notice the email's I sent them checking up on things.
They've sorted it now and I am again a happy Waldorf owner

I have recently send a number of emails to Waldorf regarding Nave crashes and I too get absolutely NO replies back. Really disappointed since I have had many crashes just clicking once on a parameter in Nave.shroom81 wrote:I'm just baffled at their sales support there's not even an automated email saying the office is closed between these dates or you're order has been received, just nothing.

A short reply saying they will have a look at it would be fine.
Maybe it's just me but when I switched to the new licensing system I found that all my user presets had been deleted! Fortunately I had backup. Of course I wrote to Waldorf about this too but well, nothing.
Please check if you still have your presets.

The preset issue has been there for a while. Every time I update largo or ppg it deletes my presets and I have to move them back over. Not sure why that is.Soarer wrote:I have recently send a number of emails to Waldorf regarding Nave crashes and I too get absolutely NO replies back. Me too - I'd be seriously pissed if that happened to me but not come across it. I'm also not aware of it being a 'known issue' so if it is coming up for people then do make a bug report.

That's not very good to hear and it sure sound's like they are having some internal problems, this will put me off from buying more Vst's from them atm. I got no reply from them either until I opened a paypal dispute.Soarer wrote: I have recently send a number of emails to Waldorf regarding Nave crashes and I too get absolutely NO replies back. I will have a look at the possible "lost presets" issue in Nave ASAP.
Of course it is always good to do a backup of your presets, especially if you re-install the plugin.
