I tried programming a Cheetah MS800 not long ago and really struggled...
But somehow RDJ made an entire album with it. Different strokes for different folks.

Okay, here's another 100 presets wrapped in a Tranzistow tutorial:
05 Additive Harmonics-180201.zip http://vze26m98.net/tranzistow/05%20Add ... 180201.zip
These build on the presets that can be found in "01 Basic Saws-180125". I like string timbres, and am always looking at ways to add interest in the upper harmonics of a sound. So these are like the earlier saws, but they have their upper spectrum bandpassed and modulated, then mixed back into the original oscillator pair.
I did my final tweaking with an EFX chain consisting of NUGEN's Stereoizer, Kazrog's Thermionik Amped Bass and a 3Sigma Audio Acoustic 810 impulse. So you might want to concoct something similar for your flipping through the presets.

I take it then that there are samples in this set.cturner wrote:Okay, here's another 100 presets wrapped in a Tranzistow tutorial:

Ok I've done a color edit for Diodow...LTU (long term usage) because I could look at it for hours without eye strain. Others will no doubt disagree and yes it's boring.....

Anyone else getting a crash or two with Diodow ? Reaper crashed a couple of times and I got this in FL Studio:
Think I'll try Tranzistow next but am I correct in saying there are some limitations in the demo version ?

Maybe a little on the "boring" side, but infinitely more tolerable and useful! The solid sliders make a huge difference, to me. I'd ideally like to see a little more color variance (especially on the parameter titles), but your muted slate color is a very good start! Thanks for sharing!Teksonik wrote:Ok I've done a color edit for Diodow...LTU (long term usage) because I could look at it for hours without eye strain. Thanks, I just tried those colors in Tranzistow and it really tames the look of that beast at least for me. Easy to make any number of color combinations but swapping out .ini files is a bit cumbersome.
But Tranzistow is one seriously powerful synth.

The demo version has clicks, pops, dropouts and these annoying messages that pop up that say you can't save presets in the Tranzistow directory.Teksonik wrote:Anyone else getting a crash or two with Diodow ? Reaper crashed a couple of times and I got this in FL Studio:

Now, having said that, the above annoyances aren't that often but often enough to prevent you from making a track with it. I'd say the interruptions occur every minute and a half on average. Sometimes I've seen as long as 3 minutes and then there are times that two different things will happen only seconds apart and then nothing for a couple of minutes. As demo restrictions go, it's one of the best out there that uses the "noises" feature.
Oh, one other thing. Only part 1 works in the demo. But that's a very minor thing. Everything else, otherwise, is fully functional.

I'd love to but I'm too busy. But I will be providing about 100 patches for people to use if they're into experimental stuff. Not a lot of bread and butter sounds as there are other synths for those. This one is sci fi heaven.egbert101 wrote:Now you guys can put your money where your mouth is and join the One Synth Challenge #108.

Aren't there parameters names? I mean it would be very helpful if we can give a different background for a specific parameter to highlight it.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

You don't have to!Teksonik wrote:but swapping out .ini files is a bit cumbersome.
If you prepend the line with ; it is commented out.
So you can have multiple color themes in .ini file, commented out, then you uncomment the one you wanna use...
Can't do that, and I assume it won't be happening considering there's over 3500 parameters in this beast.EnGee wrote:Aren't there parameters names? I mean it would be very helpful if we can give a different background for a specific parameter to highlight it.
