Agreed! Britpop was an aberration... Blur did themselves no justice during that period, but I love some of their later work, especially the solo stuff.

You can chuck in Sleeper while you're at it...

Suede were pretty abysmal, although I quite liked the Coming Up album for some reason.

Anyone else remember 'Rock' being a dirty word in the early 90s?

What went wrong? We seem to have gone full circle back to luddite bands like the Strokes and the White Stripes?

Anything by basement jaxx, especially "red alert" and all their ____lude songs.. what a soul-less collection of well polished turds.

Anything by david bowie.. how ANYONE can enjoy this is beyond me.. his voice is entirely unmusical.. its like a good idea executed horribly bad.

and to top it off, he did that stupid changes song
